Julienprz
I would like to make a WiFi network between an Xp running machine and an other running Vista, to share files directly (Music, divx etc, etc). The first one run XP home and the second Vista Home Premium. I've tried to do it but is apparently not just easy as it was on Xp->Xp I would also like to know how to do the same thing between two Vista Pc's May someone help me? please. Dick Montage
Are you using a router (infrastructure) or just 2 wireless cards (ad-hoc)?
Julienprz
Hi njlouch, The xp one is connected to a router directly and the Vista one is connected to the same router via a wireless card.
Drew
All I personally did with my XP > Vista network was on the Vista Machine (mines which hosts the files) was go into Network, enable file sharing, disable passworded access, made sure both computers were on the same workgroup (MSHOME) and then ran the network wizard on XP so it'd find the other computer and I was able to browse all files which I chose to share from my Vista machine :)
