I already paid 1 year. though if it gets shutdown it gets shut down. It was FANTASTIC while it lasted.

The people that complain that rapidshare sucks obviously don't have a paid subscription to it. Or they do have a subscription but are such downloading ###### they go over the limit of 25 gigs a week.

I was having problems with RS earlier this evening couldn't access the site at all, however all appears well now. Just a rumour (for now) I guess.

20. January 2008 - Problems accessing RapidShare

Unfortunately, starting at 5 pm CET, one of our carriers experienced a severe technical problem with their hardware, causing a loss of 50 gigabit of bandwidth. Therefore RapidShare was unavailable for several hours. We already have taken steps to avoid this particular problem in the future.

(It's already 2008/01/20 in Germany)
