Talk about completely going away from the Star Trek plot line the first few seconds I thought perhaps the trailer was for another movie. Oh well I guess things change as time goes on as they need to keep the younger audience interested.

I know, at first I was like, is this a trailer for another movie? After it started a bit, I actually enjoyed it, I'll go see it honestly, as I'm a fan of the series and I want to see it's rebirth, but you know what'll be awesome? As with any Star Trek movie, little miniatures of the ships will get released, I don't know about you, but when I was young, the second most exciting thing about a Trek release was all the goodies that got released to the stores with it. Including those little Enterprise ships that had four buttons on the back that made noises. :D

I saw Quantum of Solace last night and it was awesome, but the Star Trek trailer that was played before the movie was absolutely insane!!!

It gave me goosebumps. That movie is going to be awesome.

I saw the trailer this weekend before the bond movie. I admit, I was on the ehhh this is going to suck bandwagon, but, hmm, this looks awesome!! Still don't like the guy playing kirk, just looks wrong for the character, but I am looking forward to seeing this now.
