MulletRobZ
For certain web sites I visit frequently (e.g. http://www.radio-canada.ca - Canada's French-language news site), they demand the use of Microsoft Silverlight in order to view video content. While I do have it installed properly on my Mac (10.4.11) for both Safari and Firefox (the about:plugins page said it was installed), I always get a message on Firefox 3 Beta 2 saying Silverlight is not installed when I load up certain web sites that need it. :s So I was wondering if there was a possible workaround or if other people are having this problem. As for Safari, it loads up Silverlight objects, but it is still a bit flaky.
The_Decryptor Veteran Posted February 9, 2008 Veteran Share Posted February 9, 2008 Apparently the browser check (ugh) breaks under Firefox 3 (on Win and Mac), maybe it can't handle the letter in the version name or something.
