Sk_illed Posted November 26, 2001 Share Posted November 26, 2001 I have an ASUS A7V with a VIA KT133A chipset... I was thinking about getting an ATHLON XP. I asked the guy at PC-CLUB if it would work, they said they tested it even with the new 1007 bios and it wouldnt work. Has anyone accomplished this?? Jonas Posted November 26, 2001 Share Posted November 26, 2001 Sorry, thats a no go... look on the (very slow) asus site, that board wont support much now, the XP or later Athalonswont run, even with the latest bios upgrade.
