Here you go, a modified international inf file for Vista x64:

Good luck:))

How do I use the modified .inf file?

EDIT: Figured it out. For others that still don't know, save the .inf and after extracting the installer, go to x:\NVIDIA\x\174.16\x and overwrite the .inf with the one you downloaded.

Because I'm Brazil. (XP 32bits)

Thanks...

Here you go :)

I installed these on my vista32 computer with the modded inf.

I have 2 8800GT's in SLI but when I enable SLI in the nvidia control panel and go ingame it gives me a flickering screen and finally a BSOD with the file nvlddmkm.sys. Disabling SLI seems to solve this problem but maybe there is something else I overlooked?

I downloaded the English UK international version, maybe it doesn't work with the modded inf?

Great, thanks very much!

i have just bought a Media Center for my living room, but there is a CRT television, and the MediaCenter uses a 8400GS, and i could not change the sceen position, even the format of the screen(for normal TVs or flat screen TVs). And i saw that many people were searching for a fix for it.

It is great, but i hope that this driver include some configuration that able you change the format of the screen from normal tvs to flat screen TVs.

if someones know how can i change it(from normal to flat screen), or if this driver includes this option, i would thank you if you post

and, whats the difference between the normal driver / the modded inf.?

Nothing, the original driver only allows you to install it on a computer with a certain graphics card only. The Modded inf allows you to install it on a computer with any nvidia card. Otherwise, the driver is exactly the same.

    • You are clueless. The updates are done in the background so the next time you open Edge the updates are applied automatically. There is no need to close all your tabs. Just keep browsing like you normally do. Clearly you don't use Edge and are just one of those haters that complain for the sake of complaining.
    • I don't get this David. Can you explain it please.
    • Microsoft is busy. Lots of changes to be released imminently for Windows server or soon. Also, lots happening for next version as well. Third party virus scanning software is being moved out of Kernel mode to avoid repeat of Crowdstrike incident. Windows Protected Mode and Windows Ready Print no longer require third party print drivers to be installed. New storage stack being developed. New NVME drivers now available for Windows Server 2025 to improve local NVME drive performance by 60+ percent. NVME-Of of fabric being worked on for next release to improve network access to NVME drives. ReFs (next file system) now has ability to boot and will become default file system in next release of Windows Server. ReFs improves on NTFS in several areas including resiliency and reliability and scalability. New update stack is being worked on to unify Windows updates, and updates for drivers and first party/3rd party application software. A stricter and more robust third-party driver certification program (ODI) is being worked on to improve performance, thermals, battery life, and reliability on modern Windows hardware by tightening how OEMs and IHVs (Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, NVIDIA, etc.) build and ship drivers. There is a tone more but too numerous to mention.
