Badtz-Maru
from what i remember, nod32 is faster, uses less resources, but kaspersky has slightly better performance. Vettetech
AV Comparatives has voted NOD32 the best AV for 2 years. Thats not why I use it though. I tried KAV and it slowed my pc down no matter what I did. Especially browsing. The new version is suppose to fix that but it did not. NOD32 runs great and very quick on my pc. It doesn't bug you about running weekly scans. It sits there and does it job and does it well. Badtz-Maru
That post doesn't make sense. I must have been pretty vague. Kaspersky has a slightly better detection chance, but nod32 scans faster. phot0nic
I must have been pretty vague. Kaspersky has a slightly better detection chance, but nod32 scans faster. detection rate depends on the type of threat. Kaspersky has slightly better detection with documented viruses while NOD32 has better detection with new, undocumented viruses. Both are very lean on resources. Neither one is really better. I've used both interchangeably on machines for years, and they're both great products.
