Wait wait, Christian is on the ECW brand??? Or just showed up or something? (I can't load WWE pages for some reason, so I can't read the story)

I hope to the high heavens he isn't on the ECW brand. He should be on RAW or Smackdown and instantly put in the title picture. He wasn't appreciated at the end of his last WWE tenure, let's hope they do this time around.

He's challenging for the ECW Championship.

Yeah it seems he is only on ECW sadly :(

He needs to be challenging Cena or Edge :p

Totally agree. I want him on SD with Edge and the Hardys. I guess they thought ECW would be somewhere where he wouldn't be lost in the pack.

Anyway, good news that Christian is back! Makes me want to actually watch ECW after a long time.

They won't want to associate him with Edge, they want to make Christian a good singles wrestler and not be linked with Edge this is a problem I think WWE have with the Hardys everyone thinks Matt and Jeff and not their singles success that being said don't be surprised if they push them together again because it means ratings.

It's known that a few storylines needed rewrites because of leaks.

I do hope Christian is given the push he clearly should have.

Yeah plus if you read wwe news daily you will know Christian has been backstage.

After watching ECW finally, I gotta admit I liked the way they brought him back. It was pretty obvious he was gonna be the person responsible for all the Jeff Hardy crap, but after it was leaked Vince got ticked and changed it to Matt, which is better anyways because Matt deserves some limelight shining on him also.

But Christian just showed up and beat Swagger. Now you can say all you want about the ECW brand. But Swagger is a hell of an athlete and wrestler. And Christians first match back he beat him of course. Whether or not he gets moved to the main RAW or Smackdown roster down the road is another story. But he's obviously gonna be going into Wrestlemania either as ECW champion, or winning the championship from Swagger or Finlay (who also deserves a title run).

Plus, I loved his new entrance music.

They'll switch him at the next draft, they have put him on ECW for one reason only and that is to make it watchable because before last night I stopped watching ECW because to me I still love the old ECW. Swagger is a good wrester but he can't cut promos for jack or look the part, he even dropped the belt at the beginning.

WWE confirms the Draft lottery will return after Wrestlemania XXV:

WWE has announced that the Draft will be coming back after WrestleMania XXV. The 2009 Draft will air a week after the big event on the April 13th edition of Monday Night Raw from Atlanta.

Here is a very good interview with John Cena that the Baltimore Sun did recently where he talks about lots of stuff, including last year's UK Sun interview where he pretty much told The Rock off for turning his back on the wrestling biz. Pretty good read actually even if you "hate" Cena, you gotta give him props for what he's done for the company over the past few years.

Rappy: Based upon?

...the fact ECW is utter crap and Christian is to big a name for ECW. With that happening in April he would have a good 2 month title reign as champ then move...just my 2 cents tho.

Christian deserves to be on RAW or Smackdown in fueds with the big names. He was a multiple time world champion in TNA among other things. Up until Kurt Angle and Mick Foley went over there, he was the biggest name they had. I just hope WWE doesn't crap all over him. Vince has a thing for people who leave WWE and return. He likes to put them in the dog house for awhile.

He certainly can be a main eventer in WWE and deserves to be world champion there also. I can see great fueds for him:

Jericho

HHH

Cena

Shawn Michaels

Matt or Jeff Hardy

Edge

The list can go on and on. Christian is a terrific singles wrestler now, and can hold his own against anyone. Some of the stuff he did in TNA was way better than some of the guys do in WWE at this point.

It's almost a developmental brand! But that's fine cos it keeps the dross off SD/Raw...

Oh wait, no it doesn't!

Yeah they are using ECW to test new superstars, for example Tyson debuted this week from the Hart Stable and he looks good but if you debuted him on Raw he would of been not well received.

    • Uh, after intense testing now, 'Samsung Browser' is not the best one outside of 'Microsoft Edge' after all. Opera Air is that. It has "some" bloat, but it's far less than what both Microsoft Edge and Brave browser have.
