so far in The Bash ... a big yawn! at least there are streams online so i don't have to pay to watch this crap

Tommy Dreamer retained the ECW title in a "Scramble" match against Christian, Jack Swagger, Mark Henry, and Finlay.

Rey had his mask ripped from his face BUT he had another mask under it -- and also PINNED Jericho!

---didn't we see this exact storyline about a decade ago in WCW??

Dolph Ziggler pinned the Great Khali after Kane interfered.

The original scheduled match between The Colons vs. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr. was changed by General Manager Teddy Long -- to a 3-way match with the other team being Chris Jericho and Edge.

---Edge pinned Carlito to win!

Champion Michelle McCool beat Melina for the Women's title.

CM Punk kept his belt by disqualification when he kicked the referee on purpose to keep his title! Hardy won but as you know, a belt does not change hands on a disqualification verdict!

---so once again he is being used as a complete joke, has CM ever defended the title without being disqualified?

Miz tapped out to John Cena's STF

3 stages of Hell Match for the WWE Title

STAGE ONE -- Standard match -- Triple H. is disqualified for using a chair.

STAGE TWO -- Fall Counts Anywhere -- Triple H. pins Orton.

STAGE THREE -- Stretcher match -- Orton wins with help from Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr.

WINNER OF THE MATCH -- RANDY ORTON!

I can't believe all the people online who are whinnnnnnnnnnnnnning about Cena going over Miz.

Uh, what did they expect exactly? Did they really think the WWE's TOP DRAW GUY to lose to The Miz on a PPV? Miz has hardly had any push yet, it's going on what, 4 or 5 weeks that he's even been on RAW doing his Cena stuff? "Oh but he has to get squashed by SuperCena! BOOO!" "The 5 moves of doom took out Miz!". Come on people, wake up. Until Vince knows that Miz can bring in the buyrates, the merchandise or the ratings for TV, he's not gonna beat Cena on a PPV. Plus, who says the fued is over? Cena gave Miz the biggest rub he could in a WWE.com interview after the PPV saying he respected Miz for showing up and going at it with him.

It's the same exact storyline from WCW when Jericho would call out Goldberg week after week and say he was undefeated against Goldberg because he would never show or wasn't at the arena. The difference here is, that Goldberg wanted nothing to do with Jericho (because Goldberg was a dumbass who didn't want to work with Jericho or do a "comedy" thing with him) and the storyline never finished. Jericho said the storyline was HIS idea, and Bischoff loved it. At the end, Goldberg would come in and destroy Jericho.

Sounds familiar don't it?

Oh man, i know this was supposed to be a serious post but i couldn't help laughing after remembering the Goldberg - Jericho stuff. The Jericho entrance where he got lost on the way to the ring comes to mind

For me, Jericho + Edge as tag champions = win. At least it makes the tag division interesting.

Definitely agreed. Felt like we were trolled big time. Wanted to see Jeff Hardy win, looked like he won, but there was a 'rope break' and of course CM Punk attacked the referee, which resulted in DQ. HHH looked like he's gonna win, but of course Orton and his lackeys. Really getting old fast.

If you ask me, the best match was the ECW 'chamption scramble' match and Michelle McCool vs Melina, and lastly the triple threat tag team match, only because Jericho and Edge got in on it. everything else was boring.

I actually think that PPV was pretty good. I really enjoy having Edge and Jericho as Unified Tag-Team Champions. That does bring a great deal of credibility to the tag-team division, which has seriously been hurting. I am a bit disappointed with the character CM Punk is doing now. Oh well. It's weird, I cannot find anybody that I really like to see with the title. Orton is okay for now, but I would prefer to have somebody else. Not Orton, Cena, HHH, etc.

Hell even having Mark Henry as champ would make it more interesting. Mr. Sexual Chocolate.

Wow, ECW got screwed on talent boy. I mean, sure Vince doesn't think very highly of the show to begin with I'm sure, but come on.

But, Jack Swagger and Evan Bourne on RAW is great. I can see Swagger in the upper-mid card right away, and Bourne, close but may need some more work. Gail Kim is a great worker (and a great women's wrestler) and will only help the "women's" division out (ugh). Hart Dynasty going to SD is awesome, they deserve more air time then they were able to get on ECW. Overall, alot of the trades were interesting, if only for some of the opportunities it opens up for the talent.

And seeing Henry punk out Orton was awesome yes, but seriously? Do you know how weak they just made RAW's TOP heel look? Sure he had a "match" with Bourne, but didn't really get his butt kicked. Then Swagger just like, took the finger poke of doom more or less lol.

Edge injured at house show, possibly out of action until March 2010:

In an update on the story we broke first exclusively here on WrestleZone.com last night, we can now confirm the injury to Edge at the WWE house show. He injured it about five minutes into the match and at this point the injury is believed to be a torn Achilles tendon.

As we noted in our initial report, Edge did get on the microphone and apologize to the fans for having to cut the match short. The spot the injury occured wasn't even really a spot. Edge just planted his foot wrong and went down with his leg at a bad angle.

That is actually quite a serious injury and will likely require surgery and a long period of down time for Edge. According to one source, the plan is to try and get the Unified tag-team titles, which Edge currently holds with Chris Jericho, onto the team of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase - Legacy.

Right now company officials are scanning footage of the Edge vs. Great Khali match taped on Wednesday night for next week's SmackDown! TV show trying to find a spot where they can claim on TV for storylines that Edge was injured. [partial credit: f4wonline.com]

Also it looks like Jeff Hardy has not resigned with WWE yet, and may be on his way out. We'll know soon if he resigns or not.

    • Most boring game ever. Repetitive, empty, predictable, and full of cliches. Total waste of time and money, IMO.
    • Mafia: The Old Country expansion Man of Honor announced, brings back Salieri from original by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe During Summer Game Fest, 2K and Hanger 13 brought out a new Mafia: The Old Country trailer, revealing the game's first expansion. Named Man of Honor, this is slated to add two new chapters to the Enzo storyline that the game follows. There is an iconic character returning to the series with this expansion, with players set to run into Ennio Salieri, the future Don of the Salieri crime family. Fans of the original Mafia, or its Definitive Edition remake, may remember that name as one of the biggest characters in the storyline. This expansion is set prior to his rise to being the kingpin in the City of Lost Heaven. "Set in Sicily during the winter of 1905, Enzo Favara has proven himself a reliable soldier of the Torrisi crime family in the months since his initiation," says the studio about the new chapters. "Now, the Don entrusts him and Cesare with a delicate assignment of assisting Ennio Salieri, a man of honor recently released from prison and intent on reclaiming what is his." Working at Salieri's side, players will be heading into fresh environments as they return to the role of Enzo as a high-ranking soldato. The studio also promises brand-new weapons, fresh vehicles, and charms to collect in this expansion. Moreover, the expansion will add new content to the updated Free Ride mode. Alongside new collectibles and locations, this will add more challenges to beat alongside Salieri, which are described as runs that will "test the skills of even the most elite mafiosi." The Mafia: The Old Country Man of Honor story expansion will release on August 14, 2026, across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. It will cost $10 for owners of the base game to jump into.

    • Telltale returns with The Wolf Among Us, re-revealing the sequel and a new remaster by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Telltale Games, the studio known for its episodic games from the 2000s, had a surprise appearance at the Summer Game Fest showcase today. The studio has gone through a collapse, an acquisition, and a revival but has largely gone silent in recent years. Today's sudden announcement was for the popular The Wolf Among Us series, with news about the sequel and a remaster dropping. Set after the events of the 2013-released title, the sequel will bring back Biby Wolf for a new adventure in Fabletown. This town of fairy tale characters is becoming unstable, with Snow White not being able to keep order as before. "When a brutal series of crimes threatens to fracture the fragile balance holding Fabletown together, Bigby Wolf, sheriff of Fabletown, finds himself drawn into a dangerous conspiracy that reaches deep into the city’s criminal underworld," says the studio. "As suspicion spreads across the city and powerful forces work against him, Bigby must uncover the truth and decide what kind of sheriff - and what kind of wolf - he is willing to become." At the same time, Telltale also announced The Wolf Among Us Remastered, bringing back the classic with a fresh coat of paint. This will include all five episodes from the original game plus over an hour of extra content that will offer behind-the-scenes videos, cast interviews, image galleries, and deleted scenes. The remaster will also have updated visuals and improved UI elements and accessibility features, alongside upgrades to the animations, audio, and frame rates. Telltale has been working on this project for almost a decade now, but if the new release schedule holds, fans will be able to jump into The Wolf Among Us 2 sometime in 2027. As for The Wolf Among Us Remastered, this is slated to release during this holiday season.
