And Brett was screwed by vince real time, so he would never come back, at least in WWE.

don't forget Owen either he died during a live PPV due to an accident something I am sure Brett never forgave the WWE for

Bret and Vince have gotten past the "Montreal Screwjob" crap already. Why do you think Bret was inducted into the HoF and had that awesome DVD set? Bret said he's willing to do WWE TV now, I don't know how much more specific you can get that he's open to working with Vince et al again.

As for the Owen Hart thing. Bret didn't blame WWE specifically for that, he blamed the crew and people involved in the stunt that killed Owen.

And for those of you who keep saying how awesome it'll be to see Bret wrestle Shawn Micheals or whatever...the man had a stroke (because of Goldberg, thanks idiot!) and can never wrestle again. I don't even think he'd be willing to take a bump as a GM or anything. Why risk another stroke, or some horrible thing happening to him for a simple bump?

CHRIS JERICHO has urged WWE boss Vince McMahon to ditch the company's old guard in favour of promoting new talent.

Despite himself being a 19 year-veteran, the 38-year-old Canadian claims the world's leading wrestling promotion is in danger of going stale if the likes of Triple H, Undertaker and Shawn Michaels continue to dominate the spotlight.

Jericho insists rising stars like Legacy, Morrison and Jack Swagger can safeguard the long-term future of the company if McMahon gives them the opportunity to do so.

Former world heavyweight champion Jericho said: "Creating new talent, creating new stars, that's the most important thing for any of the brands to do.

"They have to keep the wheels turning ? they can't just base it on the same guys year in and year out. That's how business fails ? that's how WCW failed."

Speaking to Slam Wrestling he added: "We have some young guys that are ready to grasp it and there are other guys that aren't. They're going to have to speed up the process a bit.

"I think that Morrison is learning more each week, I think Dolph Ziggler is learning more each week, Cryme Tyme have learned a lot over the last few months.

"Legacy is getting there, Jack Swagger, Kofi Kingston and The Miz ? those are the guys that are going to have to start becoming more of a presence.

"A couple of guys in ECW, like Evan Bourne... Sheamus is another guy that I think has some potential.

"So now is the time, we need these guys to step up. But some guys just aren't capable ? they're not ready because they don't have the experience yet.

"But as long they are improving every week, those are guys that I kind of see as being the next wave of the company when my generation of guys is retired or not at the same level as we are now."

Yeah Jericho is just all kinds of awesome. It's a shame he plays a heel so good, I'd much rather he got cheers as a face for some reason. He just totally seems like a nice guy and really down to earth and totally into the wrestling biz, which I respect big time. I hate to see him as a heel and being booed :(

Yeah, but at least it's a "love to hate" boos rather then actual "i actually hate you" boos (see post above) :p

That would be retarded. Rock, who hasn't wrestled in WWE since like 2004 or 2005 comes back for WM and just beats Undertaker to end his streak? Very doubtful. More likely, Rock will challenge him for a WM match, and lose to put Undertaker over even more as he heads towards retirement.

Alright, after all the negative stuff I've said about Rock over the past few years...that was just awesome. And really shows how much the WWE reallllllllly misses him. Besides Jericho and a couple others, NO ONE cuts promos like him. Plus, he's just hysterical in that bit.

I'm still sure he'll get booed a ton if he hosts RAW (he got booed on SD! after all lol) but he'd win them over pretty quick. And guess what? I get this weirdo vibe from him now...that maybe he'd get in the ring again. One last big match at WM for sure. But who knows. The crowd sure loved him at the end, and considering how funny he was and how "family" oriented WWE is now, Rock would be an awesome addition to WWE right now.

But, I'm not holding my breath :(

    • Thanks, Sony and Nintendo, you effectively killed platform-agnostic gaming. Long gone are the days when you could wish to play a specific game on whatever platform you were. Now, you have to buy the hardware just to play that single game. What, you're only interested in THAT game and nothing more? Bad luck, suck it and buy our console.

    • "CRAZIER than ever!" Crazy Taxi: World Tour is officially coming soon by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Sega announced it is working on bringing back some of its classic franchises in 2023, and while it has taken some time, the company finally gave fans a look at one of these new projects at the Xbox Games Showcase today, which turned out to be a brand-new Crazy Taxi entry. Watch the debut trailer above, which has snippets of gameplay in between the cinematic bits while blasting a track from The Offspring. Dubbed Crazy Taxi World Tour, this installment is aptly being described as being "CRAZIER than ever!" The director behind the original, Kenji Kanno, is helming this new entry as well, which will come with access to five new cities to drive in, competitive multiplayer modes, a vehicle customization system, and more. Axel is returning as a protagonist as well, but this time a mystery driver is offering him the opportunity to take his adventures to the streets in other countries. This will involve Axel chasing down masked villains that have somehow stolen his taxi, which means even more extreme missions and challenges to overcome. "From transporting passengers at top speed to tackling unique side missions and odd jobs across dynamic maps, there are countless ways to drive crazy and rake in big money," says Sega about this new installment after over 20 years. "Perform outrageous drifts, catch insane air, and drive at crazy speeds across five different cities as you work to deliver passengers and complete a variety of missions and challenges." The studio has even confirmed an in-game Arcade Mode that players will be able to access containing the original games for plenty of nostalgic action. Crazy Taxi: World Tour is currently slated to release sometime in 2027 across PC, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch 2.
    • This and Crazy Taxi are the two games that interested me the most from this showcase.
