The good thing about Rock's promo there was, he was having a ball doing it. Which is a GOOD thing, believe me lol It's not like he was forced to do it, or guilted into doing it. And he was obviously enjoying himself. Which can only mean good things.

Plus, like I said, if his movie career keeps up the way it is, he'll be back on WWE TV pretty soon anyways :D

What was so "special" about Hell in a Cell in that match? Might as well have been a straight 1 fall match or a no DQ. No "special" type moments at all in an Undertaker HIAC match. Getting dry in creative it seems!

That match was hilarious for two reasons.

1) Randy Orton gave the finger to the audience after his failed attempt to throw the steel steps inside the ring with the first try.

2) A razor blade(?) was momentarily in front view before the referee picked it up and put in his pocket.

I wouldn't mind seeing Jericho as champ again. He just owns face.

Also possible candidates:

MVP

Kofi Kingston (maybe not yet though, might be a bit green still in WWE's eyes)

Miz

Morrison

Mark Henry (he's much improved over the past year or so to be honest)

Matt Hardy (come on, he deserves it)

There's a couple others, but that's all I can think of right now lol

Just to respond to LOC's post there, Matt Hardy so needs a title run when he won the ECW it was a good reign and the ECW title as we all know means jack **** now infact I think **** has more value then that! but yeah him or Morrison because he is clearly the future of the business and I hope BM Punk isn't out the picture now on SD because he's a good heel.

Hell in a cell was almost completely a borefest, which was no surprise. of Course there's nothing 'special' about CM Punk vs The Undertaker. Today's "Hell in a cell match" is nothing more than a shadow of it's former self. The problem is WWE continues to be extremely soft and more 'family oriented' to see some really good moments. Hell in the cell was one of it. It's gone soft. Those matches in Hell in the Cell, can never be the same as it used to be, considering how much is banned now, than how it used to be.

If anything, hell in a cell is just nothing more than a glorified cage match compared to what it used to be. That stuff only belongs in TNA now.

And when are we really going to see the legacy split? it's been the same old crap for months now.
