Isn't that common knowledge? I thought everyone knew that. Now you've brought it up though, I'd like to ask: what does it matter that it's fake? Most entertainment is fake. Fighting in movies is fake but the scenes are still entertaining so what's wrong with enjoying fake fighting on a TV show? The storylines in wrestling shows can be very entertaining at times.

No... It really really wasn't. My old man was a pro wrestler in the UK back in the 70's, and it was fake THEN, and that was before it even got popular on TV! :p

It's always been fake, and always will be. It's nothing but carefully choreographed fights. They even have microphones and big speakers under the ring to make the hits sound much louder than they are.
