Regarding Bryan Danielson, the former ROH World Champion was told he would be bypassing developmental and heading straight to the main roster. He is expected to debut soon on ECW. As we noted earlier, he has signed his WWE contract and he is on the current payroll.

I don't have this confirmed just yet but I was told by a reliable source tonight that WWE may be planning to counter TNA's three-hour special on January 4th with a three-hour special of their own. That means both shows would go head-to-head from 8-11EST on January 4th. Anyone think WWE doesn't care or think about TNA? Guess again.

Isn't that the rumoured Rock episode?

yeah so I read a while back, if they did pull that out the bag WWE will win the ratings for sure (I mean they are going to anyway tbh)

i'll watch it for 2 reasons

a) only because the rock is better than hogan

b) i don't want to watch the tna roster suck off hogan for 3 hours

oh god

but yeah the TNA 3 hour thing is going to be crap...just him talking about old times then putting the Nasty Boys vs Beer Money Inc

The whole Hogan thing... I am ****ed off how he has strutted in a this elevated level.

If I were someone like AJ Styles, constantly having WWE rejects steal the limelight from my hears of hard work for TNA - I'd be royally ****ed off!

Don't forget AJ (and Joe etc) busted their asses in ROH before TNA also. :)

The guest host for the final WWE RAW of 2008 on December 28th will be rapper and music producer Timbaland. Timbaland will be promoting his new album, "Shock Value II."

I hope the Undertaker slams his ugly butt into the ground. :p

Maybe Santino can mock him and then kill him. And plead insanity on live TV.

Eddie "Umaga" Fatu was set to return to World Wrestling Entertainment by the end of the year or early 2010, reports The Sun.

WWE officials confirmed to The Sun that Fatu would have been back on the roster had he passed a screening test. Fatu only had two strikes on his record when he was released by WWE this past June after refusing to enter a rehabilitation center following his second violation of the company's drug testing policy. Had he returned to the company, his previous two offenses would have remained.

In October, Umaga told colleagues that he was speaking to WWE about returning to the company. This was the reason he gave for pulling out of a previously scheduled 'shoot' interview filming.

Also according to a source, Hulk Hogan wanted to bring Fatu to TNA following the 'Hulkamania' tour of Australia. However, he told people there was no way he was going to TNA and that he was heading back to WWE once the tour had commenced.

One WWE source said they expected him to return by the Royal Rumble providing he passed his screening test.

Fatu died on Friday after his wife found him unresponsive inside their Houston area home. He reportedly died of a heart attack. The official report on his death is expected to be released later this week.

Fatu's passing was not acknowledged during last night's episode of Monday Night RAW.

:(

To put an end to the speculation that Steve Austin may join TNA, "Stone Cold" is still under contract to World Wrestling Entertainment.

A few years ago, Spike wanted to feature Austin in a non-wrestling project considering he would have been a great fit for the network geared towards men. Hence, WWE offered him a lucrative contract to not work for the USA Network competitor.

The agreement also allows WWE to sell new Austin merchandise.

According to an article today by The Greenwich Times, the death of Eki "Eddie" Fatu is beign used against Linda McMahon in her Senatorial bid for the State of Connecticut. Opponents of McMahon claims that there is no proof that McMahon did everything in her power to prevent deaths in wrestling. Former wrestler Marc Mero, author Irv Muchnick and WWE's attorney Jerry McDevitt all commented, here are the highlights?

Irv Muchnick On Linda McMahon's Responsibility:b> "I think she bears responsibility in the sense in that coal mine owners were responsible for the hazards coal miners faced in getting black lung and other illnesses."

Mark Mero On Linda Running For Senate:b> "I've wrestled against 28 people who are dead. You often question, if you don't care about your own, who are making millions and millions of dollars, what do you care about the people of Connecticut?"

Jerry McDevitt On WWE Providing Free Passes Instead Of Suspensions To Wrestlers That Failed When The Wellness Policy Started:b> "When you are going to embark on a drug testing program, there's sort of a fair notice concept."

Also, the Fatu family and Dwayne Johnson were contacted for comments, and did not respond.

Interestingly enough, the next live UFC Fight Night on SpikeTV is on Monday, January 11th, and will go head-to-head with RAW. So RAW will have to go head-to-head with TNA on 1/4 and UFC on 1/11.

UFC and TNA tag teaming :p

    • Microsoft announces the return of Xbox exclusives with Gears of War and Clockwork Revolution by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Microsoft had plenty of announcements to make today at the Xbox Games Showcase celebrating 25 years of the gaming brand. Now, under the leadership of the new Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, Xbox games are going back to their original release methods. She appeared in the livestream itself to announce the return of Xbox console exclusives. This means two major upcoming games from first-party studios won't be coming to PlayStation or Nintendo consoles: Gears of War: E-Day from The Coalition and Clockwork Revolution from InExile. Both titles will only be coming out on Xbox Series X|S consoles and Windows PCs, ditching any plans they had for PlayStation. "These are not timed exclusives," confirmed Microsoft. "We’re committed to investing in and growing XBOX both on console and beyond." The company confirmed that any already announced Xbox titles for PlayStation, under previous leadership, will continue to arrive for the rival platform. This means games like the new Halo remake, Forza Horizon 6, Fable, and State of Decay 3 will still be available on PlayStation, either at launch or later. It sounds like any new projects announced by the company will avoid other consoles in the same way. Microsoft first opened the floodgates by bringing titles like Sea of Thieves, Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush, and Pentiment to PlayStation and Nintendo consoles back in 2024. Since then, almost every new game release from Xbox Game Studios has arrived for rival consoles alongside Xbox and PC. This decision follows Sony's plans to ditch its own multiplatform releases too. Outside of multiplatform live service titles, the PlayStation maker is even abandoning its PC porting endeavors that started years ago.
    • I'm missing the beginning part of this equation... but for the sake of the convo, you don't get to take a $250(?) set of normally priced RAM, jack it up to over $500/600/800 just because of a market shift, then lower it back down to more than what it was originally and call that a "sale". Not the author of this post... the manufacturer/seller.

    • no thanks is overpriced and its not the fastest ram neither.
    • It is, but it also has a bad performance reputation even on high-end gaming PCs. Some people say it's the engine's fault, others say it's the games developers' fault, who knows... At the end of the day, for the average gamer, the take is this: PC game with Unreal Engine 5? Be affraid and cross your fingers, it's a 50/50 chance.
