The following is from WWE.com:

Jan. 11, 2010: Mike Tyson

Very familiar with being the center of attention inside the squared circle, Mike Tyson is ready to return to the ring. Unlike old times, however, the former Heavyweight Championship boxer will not be slipping on the gloves and delivering knockout punches. He will, on the other hand, be delegating responsibility to WWE Superstars as Monday Night Raw?s special guest host on Jan. 11 from Minneapolis

Several WZ readers have sent in word that Sheamus' WWE Title Belt did NOT have his name engraved on it when he entered for his match on Raw last night. Generally, the title has the winner's name engraved on it within a day of the wrestler winning the belt. This was either an oversight on WWE's part, or a possible indication that Sheamus will not retain the title next week.

The Figure Four Weekly Newsletter is reporting that longtime WWE investor and Board of Director member since 2001, Michael Solomon, recently cashed in all of his WWE stock and walked away with $20 million. Solomon was reportedly unhappy with the way some aspects of WWE have been run lately, and with WWE stock being priced fairly high right now, he decided that it was a good time to get out of the company.

WWE Diva Mickie James has posted the following on her Twitter account, which seems to confirm Tommy Dreamer's departure from WWE:

"Just got back from a wonderful dinner w my 2nd fam! Saying farewell 2 a man who hs been a leader & inspiration 2 me since my ecw tryout 00" Who has given me the best advice In countless situations. Whom I could never repay but will always respect and love from the bottom of my Heart. There is but 1 Tommy Dreamer aka dream machine! You've paved the way for many. We all are grateful! I love you. Thank you! Muah!"

Why because Tyson will host on the 11th? Well WWE removed his name now and there's no mention of Tyson hosting on the 11th now.

Still, Rock will host, it's gonna happen.

Eventually...you need someone to counter the NWO over at Spike :p

There are mixed feelings on WWE champion Sheamus among those in the company.

Some feel as though his friendship with Triple H has been blown out of proportion, while others accuse him of being a shameless suck-up to him. It should be noted that he trains with Trips while on the road.

The word in the locker room continues to be that Sheamus and Drew McIntyre are favorites of Hunter and Shawn Michaels.

Just an FYI, if you've never seen Wrestling with Shadows (the documentary about Bret Hart) you can watch it here:

NFB.CA

It's 90+ minutes, and the full version with no ads or anything. Really good watch to get ready for Bret Hart to come back to WWE imo.

Cable provider DirecTV has released its preview for the January 4th RAW and confirms that the Hitman will in fact be hosting RAW that night. Their preview reads:

"Shocking Guest Host Bret The Hitman Hart returns to confront Mr. McMahon."

THQ Inc. (NASDAQ: THQI) and World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:WWE), leaders in video gaming and sports entertainment, today announced that they have entered into a new eight-year agreement granting THQ the exclusive worldwide rights to develop and publish video games based on WWE??s content effective January 1, 2010.

According to a source, current plans call for WWE to begin promoting Bret Hart's return to the company tomorrow night on RAW. They will presumably promote his guest hosting spot for January 4th, 2010.

Vince McMahon is scheduled to appear on the show to cut a big promo hyping Hart's return to television.

We reported earlier that DirecTV is featuring a preview for the January 4 RAW that reads: "Shocking Guest Host Bret The Hitman Hart returns to confront Mr. McMahon."

    • Microsoft announces the return of Xbox exclusives with Gears of War and Clockwork Revolution by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Microsoft had plenty of announcements to make today at the Xbox Games Showcase celebrating 25 years of the gaming brand. Now, under the leadership of the new Xbox CEO Asha Sharma, Xbox games are going back to their original release methods. She appeared in the livestream itself to announce the return of Xbox console exclusives. This means two major upcoming games from first-party studios won't be coming to PlayStation or Nintendo consoles: Gears of War: E-Day from The Coalition and Clockwork Revolution from InExile. Both titles will only be coming out on Xbox Series X|S consoles and Windows PCs, ditching any plans they had for PlayStation. "These are not timed exclusives," confirmed Microsoft. "We’re committed to investing in and growing XBOX both on console and beyond." The company confirmed that any already announced Xbox titles for PlayStation, under previous leadership, will continue to arrive for the rival platform. This means games like the new Halo remake, Forza Horizon 6, Fable, and State of Decay 3 will still be available on PlayStation, either at launch or later. It sounds like any new projects announced by the company will avoid other consoles in the same way. Microsoft first opened the floodgates by bringing titles like Sea of Thieves, Grounded, Hi-Fi Rush, and Pentiment to PlayStation and Nintendo consoles back in 2024. Since then, almost every new game release from Xbox Game Studios has arrived for rival consoles alongside Xbox and PC. This decision follows Sony's plans to ditch its own multiplatform releases too. Outside of multiplatform live service titles, the PlayStation maker is even abandoning its PC porting endeavors that started years ago.
    • I'm missing the beginning part of this equation... but for the sake of the convo, you don't get to take a $250(?) set of normally priced RAM, jack it up to over $500/600/800 just because of a market shift, then lower it back down to more than what it was originally and call that a "sale". Not the author of this post... the manufacturer/seller.
