WWE announced yesterday that Evan Bourne vs. Sin Cara will happen next week on RAW, so at least they're putting that right. Hopefully, they'll do a Kofi vs. Ziggler rematch as well, as that was supposed to be Vickie banned from ringside, not 2 out of 3 falls.

I still don't believe that Kane vs. Mark Henry was genuinely voted as an arm wrestling match. :p

Does anyone here watch Zack Ryder's videos on YouTube? They're really great and pretty much the only WWE related thing i watch anymore.

"This is the WWE dropping the ball with Zack Ryder" and his various jokes about jobbing/not getting pushed/drawing money/getting along with marks

Chavo Guerrero has been released.

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of WWE SmackDown Superstar Chavo Guerrero as of today, June 25, 2011. We wish Guerrero the best in all future endeavors.

Chavo asked for his release, BTW. He's explained why on Twitter...

Yes, it's true. My release is the big news I was talking about. But let's get something straight. I asked for my release. I was just tired of not being used correctly. Just cuz u can make other ppl look good, doesn't mean they should just have u lose to them. The same thing happened to Eddie. After being champ, they still had him working mid card status. Being a Guerrero, we've been taught since diapers to get the most out of ppl & matches. It's our gift, but also our curse. WWE has always used us to make other ppl look good. It all comes down to being happy. I was not happy in WWE anymore. I had a smile on my face last night though when I got my release though! :) now it's time for me to start being a Guerrero again, and start kicking ass again, be able to tell stories in the ring like u know we can. :) win or lose.

I will never go back to the place WWE put me in. I will never go back to being under utilized and watching ppl who suck get bigger "pushes" than me! Thank u to all of u who stuck by me & kept reminding me, I was better than that! :) stay tuned.. Big things coming!! Now I will really be able to entertain u! :) like me or hate me, 1 thing I have always tried to do is entertain u and give u fans your $ worth. Even if my hands were tied most of the time. I love u all and can't wait for the future!! So happy. :)

I don't blame him for leaving, to be honest. There's a lot of underused superstars that deserve to be pushed more than some of the top stars at the moment. Instead, we continue to suffer from Super-Cena, and for some unknown reason, Christian is still in the limelight. He's had his title run, no one cares about him now. Oh yeah, and we're suffering through Jinder Mahal, too. He is boring!

BTW, anyone notice they've started playing pre-recorded Sin Cara chants during his match now? I heard it echoing during the match, and no one in the audience was chanting. I'm also fairly certain they played in some boos for Christian after the end of the main event.

You sure about that? Hell of an accusation. Thats a WCW move (Goldberg, mostly), something Vince has said he would never do.

people aren't so into Sin Cara that WWE had hoped so it wouldn't surprise me

I'm not 100% certain, but it sounded pre-recorded, and when I looked at the crowd at that point, I couldn't see any of them chanting. Maybe it was just coming from one side of the arena, but it was loud, and the side of the crowd that you can see on the TV, almost no one was chanting on that side.

I would be more into Sin Cara if they hadn't messed about with his moves. In the promo videos leading up to his debut, I always saw a special move he did that led into an arm submission. Now, when he wrestles, that move is just a regular finisher with no submission at the end, just a pinfall.

it could be because its like the crossface...are they allowing that again?

Hmm, I never really thought it looked like the Crossface when I saw it. But looking back at the original promo video, looks like I screwed up again. It looked like he's putting that guy in a submission the first time I saw it, but that's pretty much the same way he does it now.

The move in question is 25 seconds into the video.

You've gotta admit though, that could be turned into a great submission move. :p

Former WWE star Batista has launched an account on Twitter via twitter.com/Real_DBautista. The account has been confirmed by his official website, Demon-Wrestling.com. He posted an introductory message explaining what he's been up to since parting ways with WWE last year.

"So I'm giving in to my rule of NO social networking because I promised my boy Josh Rafferty that i would......so here we go!" Batista wrote. "First off!!!!! NO HATERS ALLOWED!!! I hate HATERS!! I wish all haters a Nick Diaz style ass woopin! go somewhere else!

"This is what i've done since I left WWE a year ago....3 movies, first one "House of the Rising Sun" being released next month. riding low with my homies.... THE IMPERIALS!!!! Los Angeles chapter....sup Francisco,Junior, El Presidente Tomas..(we miss you Jesse) training my ass off at Gracie Fighter Pleasant Hill Cali, Gracie Fighter Tampa Fl., and Powerhouse Gym in Downtown Tampa. ....and chillin with Sarah : )"

Batista also says he plans on fighting no matter what.

He wrote, "So I'll repeat myself because haters are not only losers but they also seem to be illiterate! NO ****ING HATERS! no negative chi here!!!! and God willing...YES I will be fighting. even if i have to walk my old ass to the cage with a cane!"

Batista then criticizes WWE's "PG" product, writing, "I'm the biggest wrestling fan there is..which is why I'm boycotting the PG BS! They're selling watered down art bro. Kills me."

Batista also responded to queries regarding his recent weight loss. He says he gave up weights and eliminated certain foods from his diet.

"Gave up the weights, gluten, red meat, pork....down to 260...feel great," he wrote. "Leaner than ever though. I feel great at this weight."

Just watched the match. The crowd was really hot right from the beginning, and both of the Sin Cara chants during the match were clearly from the crowd.

Yeah, that was one of the best promos I've ever seen. Punk is seriously awesome. I don't know what's going to happen in July, whether he resigned already, or will resign, or won't resign. But Punk IMO really is the best in wrestling right now.

WWE either really, really wants him to stay and is thus giving him this huge exposure and stick/mat time. Or WWE already resigned him, and are just pushing him the way he finally deserves to be pushed.

Also, R Truth is getting REALLY good. I just hope he hasn't been buried now (after the Cena match last PPV) and will be relegated to nothingness again.

DDP! :woot:

Just saw CM Punk's "shoot" promo. Awesome work, Punk. (Y) Obviously was a worked shoot though, because if it was a genuine shoot, they would have cut him off as soon as he mentioned Cena kissing Vince's arse. :p But mentioning Paul Heyman, NJPW, "Dwayne", Colt Cabana, Stephanie and Triple H taking over after Vince, and so on, does make it fairly convincing to the regular viewers. :p

it could be because its like the crossface...are they allowing that again?

I'm pretty sure I saw Shawn Michaels and Triple H use it after the Chris Benoit incident and I'm sure I've also seen CM Punk use it too. So I think the Crossface is allowed again. Just don't call it a Crippler Crossface! :p

Oh and yes, CM Punk's shoot promo, brilliant! They made it look very real too which really added to the promo - we need to see more mic work like this in the WWE and less Cole and Vicky!

It was a shoot promo, but the entire overall angle is a work.

Two giant hints to that: Wearing the Austin shirt and not mentioning TNA.

And then the 'suspension' where they 'think' this ends his contract. If he was really leaving, that would be it. No 'thinking' needed.

It was awesome though.

Oh, and by the way, who wanted this? Cena. Hate all you want, but that man gives 120% for the WWE.

    • Microsoft hides these secret Windows 11 performance boost settings available on every PC by Sayan Sen Windows enthusiasts often look for ways to extract as much performance out of their systems as possible, and it's often the case that they try and do so while trying to minimize the heat and power consumption. This is especially relevant in the case of mobile Windows PCs since laptops and notebooks tend to get hot and management of that heat and power is harder in such a form factor. As such users often turn to techniques like under-volting which can be used to squeeze out the maximum capabilities of a chip while also maintaining lowered power levels. There are official apps from AMD and Intel with the likes of Ryzen Master and XTU (Extreme Tuning Utility). While these are quite handy, most enthusiasts probably prefer to dig into the BIOS and play around with settings there like Curve Optimizer on Ryzen, which lets users set various frequency-voltage scaling values. These are essentially called P-States. If you are not familiar with them, Processor Power Management is done through Advanced Configuration and Power Interface (ACPI) P-states and C-states. While P-states or performance pwoer states handle CPU voltage-frequency scaling, C-states deal with CPU sleep states so that some of the CPU functions, which are not necessary at that moment, can be disabled. The P-states and C-states work together to make the processor run more efficiently. It helps the OS and apps determine which cores can be parked and which should be boosted. Of course not every user is an enthusiast or knows the technicalities and integrities of how things like overclocking or undervolting work. Thankfully for them Windows itself offers something pretty cool, though it is hidden by default on all systems. By default, Windows only has two P-States, "Minimum Processor State" and "Maximum Processor State." However, this can be changed with a Registry trick to expand the options under a secret "Processor performance boost mode" dropdown. This essentially enables the HWP or hardware P-States available on a device, and these are not controlled just by the OS itself as the underlying hardware gets involved too. In total there are five Processor Performance Boost Mode profiles that control how Windows requests and allows CPU turbo/boost behavior under the different power policies. They are: Disabled: In this mode, processor boosting is effectively turned off. The CPU will avoid entering turbo or boost frequencies and instead operate closer to its base frequency ceiling. This can significantly reduce power consumption and heat output, but at the cost of reduced burst performance and responsiveness in short workloads. Enabled: This is the standard behavior where boost functionality is allowed under normal conditions. The processor can opportunistically increase frequency when workload demands it, balancing performance gains with power and thermal constraints as managed by the system. Aggressive: Aggressive mode favors performance more heavily, allowing the CPU to enter higher boost states more readily and sustain them longer. This should in theory improve responsiveness under bursty or heavy workloads but increases power draw and thermal output compared to the default enabled behavior. Efficient Enabled: This mode still allows boosting, but with a stronger bias toward energy efficiency. The system attempts to use boost more selectively, avoiding unnecessary frequency spikes when the performance gain is marginal. Efficient Aggressive: This is a hybrid approach where boost is still performance-responsive, but the system continuously weighs efficiency more heavily than in Aggressive mode. It aims to deliver noticeable performance improvements while reducing wasted power in less demanding scenarios. Here's how to enable the Processor performance boost mode: Open Registry Editor: Press Win+R, type regedit, and click OK. Go to: HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Power\PowerSettings\54533251-82be-4824-96c1-47b60b740d00\be337238-0d82-4146-a960-4f3749d470c7 (where HKLM stands for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_) Modify the value of Attributes from 1 to 2 (you can find modify option by right-clicking) After that, exit Registry, you should now be able to see the new "Processor performance boost mode" dropdown menu: As you can see there are now five new P-States or CPPC states or power profile available that help define the boost mode processor setting on your PC. Wrapping it up here's a quick run-down of the settings as defined by Microsoft itself. Setting Description Disabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is disabled. Collaborative Processor Performance Control (CPPC) behaviour is disabled. Enabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is enabled. CPPC behaviour is Efficient Enabled. Aggressive The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is enabled. CPPC behaviour is Aggressive. Efficient Enabled The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is Efficient. CPPC behaviour is Efficient Enabled. Efficient Aggressive The corresponding P-state-based behaviour is Efficient. CPPC behaviour is Aggressive. Aggressive At Guaranteed Windows calculates the desired extra performance above the guaranteed performance level, and asks the processor to deliver that specific performance level. Efficient Aggressive At Guaranteed Windows always asks the processor to deliver the highest possible performance above the guaranteed performance level. In the next part we shall be comparing these settings to explore how much of a benefit or regression they can provide in terms of performance and power efficiency. If you decide to change the values on your system and are experiencing problems like crashes or an overheating PC, make sure to revert the steps back to the original state.
    • I think he means you haven't reviewed previous UFC games. Of course it doesn't matter... Every time you just report on something that involves the President even if just simply what happened you guys usually get accused of being anti-Trump. We live in fun times.
