I don't have a problem with Rey really, but I also don't want to see another title run for him at this point in his career. Everyone complains about Cena and the 5 moves of doom etc with him. Rey has been doing the SAME match for like, a decade now if not more. I mean of course he's more agile and not a "big" wrestler but come on already. I know he's popular with the kids but really. I don't mind him in the main event picture, but please no title.

Agree with you about Rey being like Cena here, although at least he loses clean fairly often and he sells moves more. I think the reason why he doesn't get a much stick as Cena is because he's not constantly in the title picture but yeah, i've found him boring for a while and i think other people also feel the same seeing as he was also booed at points during MITB.

That was a heel crowd. Can't go by anything they did. Miz got a ridiculous ovation when he ran back out.

Punk is clearly part of a bigger WWE/ROH angle... Vince will play a role such as the deposed head of WWE seeking revenge.

Let's face it, WWE has clearly flirted with the "independant/alternative" circuit since HHH has become a louder voice within the company (Shamus, Mystico, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan were all given his support). Colt Cabana even appearing on a WWE show speaks absolute volumes.

And let's not forget that Dana White was at WWE HQ the other day (though as a tourist more than likely, but still) so who knows what's going to happen down the road here. Could be really interesting. I just hope WWE doesn't drop the ball like they've done sooooo many times with these types of angles in the past.

"Record Luchas" recently interviewed newly suspended WWE Smackdown star Sin Cara, and the lucha libre star had the following to say:"Thanks for the support everyone's giving me. I know I'm not a drug addict, much less putting stuff in my body. I don't know what could've happen. Apparently it was the medication. We're going to wait to see what happens, because I don't have a big body to be using steroids. If it had been for drugs, they would have fired me.

Tomorrow they told me we would be meeting. This affects me, but the WWE hasn't told me anything bad. What happened is I had a pain in my knee and they injected something into me. That's what must have tested positive. Supposedly it was a steroid. A lot of medications have something them that make the testing come out positive.

These are injections we normally use in Mexico. The pain has been in my knee and it's the same knee that's been giving me problems. That's what made it positive. In Mexico I was told if they did a thorough testing it would test positive, but it's nothing else bad.

Because of the company policy there has to be a penalty. I found out that I would be having a meeting with WWE tomorrow. They told me not to worry it won't affect me and nothing will happen and that's what I wanted to know. Tomorrow we will talk and we'll know what happens." I kinda thought it might be something like that with Sin Cara. He obviously isn't on steroids (at least, not the ones that make you HHH big lol) and I did know about his knee problems in Mexico so, yeah. WWE had to do it, but still.

CM Punk Crashes WWE Panel, Confronts Triple H!

This afternoon, with yours truly present, CM Punk crashed the the joint Mattel/WWE panel ? WWE: Past, Present and Future ? at San Diego Comic-Con, featuring WWE superstars Triple H, Rey Mysterio and the legendary Bret Hart.

Punk announced himself via bullhorn and then, with WWE Title in hand, took to the designated question-asking mic and began to awesomely speechify! Punk took exception to the fact that they were trying to crown a new champ on RAW and then challenged Rey, or anyone else who wanted to be champ, to head out to Chicago to take him on.

Punk then also asked Triple H and RAW writer Brain Gewirtz why Zack Ryder wasn't on TV. Triple H, in what seemed to be a part of a storyline, told Punk that things had changed on RAW and that there was a new regime. He told Punk to give him a call. Punk responded by telling Hunter that he was sure Stephanie had his number

Indeed it does. :) Looks like this is set to become the storyline of the year. CM Punk's definitely gotta get a PWI Award this year.

The Cena vs Punk match should get MoTY. I don't know if he could win 'Feud of the Year' because who would be the 'opponent'? McMahon? Cena? WWE? 'Everyone'?

I think it would be WWE. :p It could happen; last year's Most Hated Superstar of the Year was all the members of the Nexus (the original, not the New Nexus).

I guess it would have to be WWE. Who's most hated this year? Michael Cole? I realize it could come from anywhere, but just picking WWE it would be hard. So many tweeners.

I suppose he would be eligible, seeing as he's actually wrestled at two PPVs this year. :p Failing that, maybe Alberto Del Rio? Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff came fourth last year; personally, I'd give them the award, seeing as TNA's still on a downward spiral. I saw a bit of last week's episode; Brother Ray, sorry, Bully Ray is in a suit, Mr. Anderson is with Hogan and Bischoff now, and Sting is now a direct ripoff of The Joker. I bloody hate Vince Russo.

WWE Money in the Bank winner Daniel Bryan has posted the following on Twitter:

"Just finished a grappling session with Neil Melanson. Expect more and more submissions all the time on Friday Night Smackdown!"

Several readers have sent in word that Ric Flair has launched an online store which you can visit at RicFlair.com. Along with other items, Flair is reportedly selling five minute phone calls and live video chats for $495 and $750

^ Hmm, not a bad article, but there's so many mistakes in there...

  • The Hogan match he listed doesn't use any theme at all, let alone "Eye of the Tiger".
  • He talks about the first version of Shawn Michaels' theme, and he posts the sixth version. He then claims they eventually worked out the kinks in the theme by 1994, when that theme has remained unchanged since 1993.
  • He calls Edge's last theme "On This Day", and thinks it's an original WWE song, when it's pretty common knowledge that Alter Bridge created the song, and it's called "Metalingus"

And contrary to what he says, Bret Hart and Mr. Kennedy's themes do not suck! :p

And now for something completely different, I stumbled across this...

He's an ESPN analyst, can't expect perfection. But Michael's theme was changed over the years. Not sure if it was 93/94, but it originally had different vocals (Sherri, I think)

Yep, the fifth theme (the original "Sexy Boy") uses Sensational Sherri's vocals throught the entire song. This was in '92 and '93, then in '93, it changed to a different version where Shawn Michaels did most of the vocals (but Sherri is still present in the chorus), and he's used that exact same theme with no alterations since 1993, except for the time when he was owned by JBL, in which case, he used JBL's theme instead. :p

Yeah but he came out with his belt, and a new theme song (Cult of Personality lol). Not sure how they are going to spin it, other than HHH hiring him back etc.

Also, Jim Ross back on commentary YAY! Jim Morrison is back, R-Truth is totally going insane. Interesting.

Jim Morrison is back?!?!? Holy **** that's amazing!!!! ;)

Very good Raw overall. Besides the worthless Mysterio winning the title for 90 minutes that is. JR back, Zack Ryder with a Win, Punk back... Great HHH vs R Truth segment.... Worst part? I hope Cult of Personality was a one-off. This Fire Burns is much better.

I hope Cult of Personality was a one-off. This Fire Burns is much better.

As much as I love "Cult of Personality", I'm guessing it's only temporary, being used to rib Cena, because a cult of personality is someone who uses propaganda or mass media to create an idealised and heroic public image (thank you Wikipedia), and that description fits John Cena a lot more than it fits CM Punk. CM Punk's got a similar image nowadays, but that's mostly down to the fans, whereas Cena's is simply down to WWE.

Overall, a great episode of RAW. Triple H and R-Truth bickering was funny, Michael Cole doing Triple H's entrance was hilarious! The only bad part of the show was that beer ad for... I don't even remember what it was called now. Oh wait, Keystone Beer. That was painfully unfunny and even more painfully scripted, and to top it off, a little "please drink responsibly" notice at the bottom. So much for PG, eh? :p WWE might as well bump up the age rating now; we've gone way beyond PG over the past few months. Ass this, ass that, b****rd, and even douche***, which is how they bleeped it. Only in America where if they bleep a swear, the bleep out the least worst part of it, lika ass****. Prime example coming up courtesy of the

.

Right, enough of that, let's kick back, listen to Living Colour again, and reminisce that epic moment at the end. :)

    • Visual Studio finally gets long-awaited feature that developers will love by Usama Jawad Visual Studio Code is Microsoft's popular, lightweight, open-source code editor, it is actually Visual Studio that is the company's flagship integrated development environment (IDE). Although the IDE already offers a boatload of useful features for developers, Microsoft has finally introduced a long-requested capability that will be loved by many. While developers have already been able to create Git pull requests (PRs) directly within Visual Studio for the past couple of years, it had not been possible to review a PR without switching to the browser, until now. Microsoft revealed in December 2025 that it is working on UX that enables developers to do just that, and fast-forward to June 2026, and Visual Studio finally has native capabilities to open and inspect a PR, discuss feedback, and wrap up the review, all without switching to the browser. This integration works for both GitHub and Azure DevOps (including on-prem). Developers have access to multiple surfaces to open a PR, including Git Repository, Git Changes, and the Git menu in Visual Studio. Once you open a PR, all the important details will be immediately visible to you, from where you can navigate to various levels of granularity and branch states, depending on the reviews that you are engaged in. As you would expect, you also get a diff view that enables you to see code changes inline or side-by-side in a separate panel. You can also review commit-by-commit. Additionally, this UX fosters collaboration as you can leave comments, reply to threads, and resolve conversations easily. Naturally, you can also leverage Copilot to apply a code suggestion to fix a potential issue. When you are done, you have the ability to approve, complete, and merge the PR. This is a pretty major feature as it has been requested heavily for the past few years. You can try it out in Visual Studio 2026 version 18.7, made available here recently. Microsoft plans to enhance this experience further in future releases with comment filtering, a timeline of PR activity, and more.

    • Around 68% of developers are now using AI to generate code during development, and some experts are saying that a single developer using AI tools can now do the work of an entire team of 4 to 5 engineers.  According to Figma's State of the Designer 2026 report, 72% of designers now use generative AI in their workflows and 91% say it improves the quality of their work, not just their speed.  But does this mean web developers and designers are becoming less relevant, or are they simply evolving into a different kind of role? Would love to hear from developers and designers here has AI made your job easier, or do you feel threatened by how fast these tools are improving
