Not sure of the full details here, but apparently, Santino Marella got in a hell of a car accident last night.

Found the news article here:

TORONTO ? WWE Superstar Santino Marella suffered a separated left shoulder following a car accident Thursday night. (PHOTOS)

WWE.com spoke to Marella this morning about the incident.

"I had just left home and was going to get my hair cut before I began packing for WWE's trip to Puerto Rico," explained Marella. "[My barber] wasn't around, so I just decided to go home."

Marella was then hit by another vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene of the collision until police arrived, and no foul play is suspected.

"My car flipped sideways and the trunk hit a light pole, it completely crushed in," Marella said. "The airbags deployed, and all I could smell was gunpowder."

Marella's car came to rest near a light pole, and sustained significant damage.

"There was broken glass everywhere, and I tried to open the passenger door, but it was stuck," Marella said. ?Luckily, there was still power in the car. I opened the sunroof and crawled out."

He will not be at Raw this Monday.

"I need to heal up as fast as possible and get back in that ring," Santino said. "I want to get back there and fight.?

Good thing he is okay. These pictures are damn gruesome.

Good thing he is okay. These pictures are damn gruesome.

Agreed. Let's hope he's back on TV soon, even if it's just backstage segments. He's by far the funniest person in the WWE today. :p

Wow, bold move for WWE there. Let's hope it pays off for them.

Speaking of this week's RAW, not much happened again. CM Punk vs. Triple H is now a No DQ match with Triple H retiring as COO if he loses. Beth Phoenix beat Eve Torres while Natalya and the Barbie Champion argued on commentary. Oh, 8-man tag team elimination match as the main event; John Cena, Sheamus, Alex Riley and John Morrison vs. Christian, Dolph Ziggler, Jack Swagger, and Wade Barrett. And as usual, it ended in "Supercena" fashion, with Cena winning the match when it was 2-on-1.

On the bright side, Jerry "The King" Lawler teamed up with Zack Ryder! :) They beat Otunga and McGillicutty.

And as for the big storyline at the moment, Triple H reveals that Kevin Nash sent the text to himself from Triple H's phone (what a cop-out there, then Triple H decks Kevin Nash. Later on after CM Punk beats R-Truth, Triple H comes out, announces Nash if fired, he announced the No-DQ stipulation (and Punk adds on the retirement bit as well), then after that, we see Nash leaving and John Laurinaitis joins him in his limo.

So, definitely expect Nash or Laurinaitis (or both) to interfere in the match at Night of Champions. I have a feeling, they'll screw Triple H, he loses to punk, he retires as COO, then Laurinaitis becomes new COO. Weak storyline, but at the moment, predictable. Looks like Nash failing the physical was a good thing, as it meant they have to speed up the storyline. :p

Oh yeah, one more thing, "Air Boom" (Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston) will be defending the tag titles against R-Truth and The Miz. AWWWWWWWSOME!!! :D

Yes and I believe (I might be wrong, might only be an online nick) but the Truth-Miz team is going to be called Awesome Truth. :D

Now that would be awesome. :)

Just stumbled upon this video on The Miz's YouTube channel. You know the midget that lip-syncs songs? Well here he is, doing The Miz's theme, alongside The Miz... :p

Ugh I hate that kid/guy/however old he/she is lol Except! In this one vid from the other day where some gorgeous woman in latex showed up about half way through the song, my god in heaven (that I don't believe in) holy guacamole

I wonder how long it'll be before we see the Kings of Wrestling etc show up. They can only throw together teams for so long. Plus, Miz and Truth together is a little, weird to me. Plus is this not a demotion for Miz again?? World Champ for like 5 or 6 months, now he has to be in the restart of the tag division? But then again, could be much worse things for him to do. Like jobbing on Superstars or jobbing to Zack Ryder lol

^ I liked the little moment when Punk broke the fourth wall. :) "And right now, this isn't CM Punk talking to Triple H; this is Phil Brooks talking to Paul Levesque" (although he pronounced it "Levek" :p )

And yeah, they're gonna have a hard time finishing on an even bigger high at Night of Champions.

Oh, since RAW was in Canada this week, Bret Hart was on the show. How stereotypical of them. :p

Besides the face-off segment, I think the best part of this week's show was The Miz and R-Truth's promo before their match. :)

(starts at 4:14 in the video)

I know it's technically a downgrade for The Miz, as he was in the WWE title picture before teaming up with R-Truth, but I think this is definitely a step in the right direction for him. They work so well together, it's unbelievable!

CM Punk is utterly fantastic on the mic. Some people may not like his style, and his attitude towards things, but he is so talented in the ring and on the mic it isn't funny. As for how they do anything after this Sunday, well. They probably won't. I'm sure a swerve is coming from somewhere, Vince coming back and screwing HHH to get back his company, Stephanie doing something to screw Punk etc etc. Either way, the build up has been awesome for this one. The same can't be said about the Cena Alberto Del Rio match. Ugh, what HORRIBLE booking on WWE's part for this one. I know ADR was MIA for that one week due to his visa issues, but come on. Horrible build up and if ADR loses the title to Cena Sunday, horrible ending to his run.

As for the Miz and R Truth, AWESOMEEEEEEE. I don't think it actually is a downgrade for Miz. If HHH is really pushing for WWE to rebuild the tag team division, it's a big big opportunity for Miz and Truth here to make a name for themselves and then naturally break off later on for the rest of their singles careers. If it's only a short term deal, it's still great because Miz and Truth will wind up turning face because of this stuff, they are so gold together the crowds love them. :D

TMZ has obtained the mug shot of wrestling star Matt Hardy -- taken moments after he was arrested on suspicion of DUI in North Carolina on Monday ... the second time in a few weeks.

As we first reported, Hardy was popped on Monday, after allegedly swerving all over the road -- nearly hitting several other cars.

Cops claim Hardy totally botched his field sobriety test after they pulled him over -- so they arrested him on the spot.

What, you didin't read the spoilers anywhere and know this was coming up Rappy??? :D

Yeah Rappy, I thought you were keeping up with it all; they've been talking about doing the Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara storyline for weeks! :p

nah I have been doing wrestling without spoilers just to see if it makes it better :p

and did you see Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne's faces? Legit.

Kofi had a proper "WTF?" face on him, and I nearly thought Evan Bourne was corpsing. If that was the case, I'd have an excuse to post this video. :p

(Sorry, it's a joke from Botchamania)

What was the botch in it?

If you mean the "Send for the Man" video, there's no botch there, it's a running joke involving "Macho Man" Randy Savage, which came to fruition from this bit in WCW...

The specific moment happens at about 1:30. Torrie Wilson is corpsing (breaking character by laughing), so Randy slaps her to get her to stop corpsing. So, whenever someone's caught corpsing (like

), that clip plays with "SEND FOR THE MAN!" written on top of it.

...well, they really screwed up the booking for most of those matches. I wish I didn't stay up and watch it all now. :/

The one they definitely screwed up the most was the Divas title match. Beth Phoenix was in her hometown with the entire crowd behind her, and they book the tanned Barbie doll to retain the title via another weasley roll-up! That was the match I was angriest about; I actually shot up from my bed when that 3-count hit. Should have been Beth all the way, especially after she delivered that superplex (which BTW, I reckon has been done in a divas match before, in contrast to what Booker T said :p ). Was a good match, overall.

The IC title match was a bit of a surprise. I was expecting Jack Swagger to run riot and win the title, and he had it in the bag when he gutwrench'd Alex Riley, then Dolph Ziggler comes out of nowhere and shoves him so hard that he couldn't break up Ziggler's pinfall!

BTW, anyone here envy Matt Striker after that match? I don't think so. :p

I couldn't give a toss about Cena winning the WWE title for the umpteenth time. They said that's his 10th WWE title reign now (and 12th world title reign overall). And they also said that Randy Orton's a 9-time world champion (WWE title 6 times, WHC 3 times). Umm...

262304c9c025dd00b0.jpg

(Sorry, another Botchamania joke. It normally says "f**k this company" at the bottom, and it's usually only used for TNA events. :p )

Oh, the final match was a bit of a turnup as well. We all thought Lauranitis was gonna screw Triple H out of victory. He screwed him indeed (first not sending the replacement ref in to count Triple H's pinfall, then texting Kevin Nash to come in and take care of business), but even with Kevin Nash, and The Awesome Truth there, he still won!

But CM Punk would have won if R-Truth didn't do a Lil' Jimmy and drag him out the ring after he delivered the GTS. :p

    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know The ONLY thing I need to know is the price, which I know will be way higher than I (and most people) are willing to pay for a phone... so basically nothing here I need to know. PS: Nice job getting that Apple reference to a non-existent and unrevealed product as "competition" in there. Cheque is in the mail.
    • Well I really think the repasting helped if your higher clocks have returned, maybe the next thing to look at is if there is a problem with your case airflow? I guess this because your 3080 has returned to optimal state, but is still staying too warm, which might suggest it was thermal throttling before you repasted, of which the only logical conclusion could be outside factors.
    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know by Hamid Ganji Galaxy Z Fold 7 - Image via Samsung The next generation of Samsung foldables is set to be unveiled next month at the second Unpacked event of the year. Samsung’s 2026 foldables are not expected to offer significant upgrades over their predecessors, with the Korean firm instead focusing on design refinements and conventional upgrades such as faster processors and better cameras. However, Samsung is reportedly planning to unveil an all-new passport-style foldable this year to rival Apple’s first foldable iPhone, which is expected to debut this September. Here’s a roundup of everything we know about Samsung’s upcoming foldable devices ahead of their official debut. When can we expect Samsung’s new foldables? The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 series were unveiled in July, and Samsung is expected to maintain this timeframe in 2026. Based on previous reports from Korean sources, Samsung will hold its Unpacked event on July 22 in London, UK, to pull back the curtain on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series. The devices are also expected to hit the shelves a few weeks after launch. However, Samsung has yet to announce an official date. A new naming scheme? One of the most interesting changes we might see this year is a new naming scheme for Samsung’s latest foldables. SamMobile reported that since Samsung is expected to unveil three foldables this year, it has adopted a new naming strategy to simplify product identification for customers. Accordingly, the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 will reportedly be called the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and will serve as the direct successor to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 7. The “Ultra” suffix suggests the phone could feature higher-end specifications, such as additional rear camera modules. Samsung’s new passport-style foldable is expected to carry the Galaxy Z Fold 8 name without any suffix. This model is reportedly equipped with two rear cameras. No major changes are expected for the Flip model. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 anticipated specs Rumors over the past few months suggest Samsung is preparing several upgrades for its upcoming foldables, although the devices may continue to rely on larger batteries and faster charging speeds rather than dramatic design changes. The primary focus this year is expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and its wide-screen design. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra official CAD renders - Image via AndroidHeadlines Here are the anticipated specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra based on previous leaks: 6.5-inch outer display and 8-inch inner display, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,600 nits peak brightness Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage 4.1mm thickness when unfolded and a weight of 210g 200MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, 10MP or 12MP telephoto camera, 10MP cover camera, and 10MP selfie camera 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging Android 17 and One UI 9 As for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the device is not expected to be a major departure from its predecessor, although it could become slightly slimmer. Expected specifications include: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 processor 12GB of RAM with 256GB and 512GB storage options 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner dispaly and 4.1-inch Super AMOLED outer dispaly 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and 10MP selfie camera 4,300mAh battery with 25W wired charging Android 17 and One UI 9 Samsung’s foldables are also expected to launch with Gemini Intelligence, Google’s AI suite for automating tasks in Android ecosystem. Moreover, given current memory and component costs, some Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 variants could see a price hike. Galaxy Z Fold 8 adopts a wide-screen design The centerpiece of the upcoming Unpacked event could be the Galaxy Z Fold 8, previously rumored as the Galaxy Z Fold Wide. This model adopts a passport-style form factor and is expected to compete directly with Apple’s iPhone Fold. Galaxy Z Fold 8 official CAD renders - Image via AndroidHeadlines Here’s what to expect: 7.6-inch primary OLED display and 5.4-inch cover display, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,600 nits peak brightness, and 4:3 aspect ratio Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage options 4,800mAh battery with 45W wired charging 50MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, and 10MP selfie camera Android 17 and One UI 9 The three new foldable phones are unlikely to be the only devices unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event. The company is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and the Galaxy Watch 9 series.
