I also love the direction they are going with Mark Henry (he's finally a legit champ woohoo!) and Orton and Rhodes etc. Also this Sin Cara stuff COULD be interesting. But since neither of them talk (well, the real Sin Cara can't really talk) the feud can't be super awesome I guess.

yeah the Sin Cara feud is quite interesting as well I want to see a match between them...could be full of high spots

Someone at Bleacher Report put forward an interesting outcome for Hell in a Cell. John Lauranitis, Kevin Nash, and Awesome Truth all interfere and form a new stable to try and take down Triple H, resulting in a match at Survivor Series for control of the company.

And someone else there suggests why John Cena will lose this Sunday, mainly talking about building up his feud with The Rock, seeing as The Rock is gonna be at Survivor Series, so if they take Cena out of the title picture, there's nothing in the way of that rivalry. God knows who they'd give the title to though. I'd love for it to be CM Punk again, but I bet they'll go with ADR again.

Cena might lose and if he does it will be to ADR I think Punk has more legs in the storyline with Trips

Well, the Awesome Truth have finally resurfaced. They "invaded" a couple of WWE live events in Texas...

Miz also went on a Twitter crusade against Triple H...

Triple H fires us for "savagely attacking a WWE official" I wonder if Triple H ever put his hands on a WWE Official. Let's see.. #Hypocrite

Triple H vs Stone Cold No Mercy 1999 Triple H pushes ref. #hypocrite Triple H vs Y2J April 2000 Triple H beats up n pedigrees ref #hypocrite

And my favorite Triple H vs Kevin Nash Judgement Day 2003 Triple H "Savagely" hits ref with a SLEDGEHAMMER. Just to name a few. #hypocrite

Will be good to see how this one pans out between The Miz and Triple Hypocrite. :p

Here's The Miz's Twitter.

I dislike how they've basically taken Punks "Fired" storyline and given it to Miz/Truth... Lame!

Punk was never fired. He 'quit'.

The Miz/Truth storyline was taken away from Kevin Nash, after 1) he medically couldn't be cleared to compete and 2) he got injured at NoC.

And in more Stacy Keibler news, she recently posed nude for a new book titled Culo. The book is co-edited by Sean “Puff Daddy” Combs and Interscope record executive Jimmy Iovine. Keibler recently wrote about this her Facebook page:

“So excited for the release of CULO!”

“[Photographer] Raphael Mazzucco Rocks!”

The book is scheduled to hit stores in late November.

oh my!

Forbes.com did a story today talking about how Vince McMahon has about 400 million dollars in WWE stock now that its back over 9 dollars a share. That means he's no longer a billionaire.

Well, Vince knows what he needs to do to become a billionaire again: bring back the Attitude Era!

He doesn't have have to get rid of WWPGE either, just make it a separate part of the main package. Do Saturday morning shows for the kids (like some of the local wrestling organisations in America used to do in the 70s and 80s), then turn the main shows back into adult-orientated shows. They could even go back to the old "Raw Is War" layout, where the first hour of the show was more teen-orientated, then the second hour (the "War Zone") was where all the adult parts took place. That way, they don't miss out any age group, and it can help to fill up their new WWE Network when that launches.

BTW, don't know if anyone here's seen this yet...

Jimmy Uso arrested for drunk driving in Tampa, Florida

Professional wrestler Jimmy Uso went from body slams in the ring to being thrown in the slammer Thursday when he was accused of drunken driving.

Uso, whose real name is Jonathan Fatu, was arrested just after 3 a.m. Thursday at Howard Avenue and Platt Street after a police officer said Uso was driving the wrong way on Howard in a silver Mustang, according to an arrest affidavit.

The 26-year-old World Wrestling Entertainment performer, 6 feet 2 and 240 pounds, had a blood alcohol reading of 0.180 — well above the 0.08 limit at which point the state presumes impairment.

Uso, who lives in South Tampa, remained in jail Thursday in lieu of $500 bail. He wrestles as part of a tag team with his twin brother, Jey, while wearing Samoan tribal beads. He has worked in the WWE since May 2010.

His blood alcohol level was .180; more than double the legal limit of .08 in Florida.

Reading that, I'm remembering something I read yesterday from this Mark Henry article: "8 Things You May Not Know About the World's Strongest Champion, Mark Henry". In slide 6, it recalls an interview from a few years ago:

"Henry doesn't ride with other wrestlers to any World Wrestling Entertainment matches. A husband and father of a 21-month-old son, Henry said one reason he drives solo is for safety, that he has less chance of getting in an accident that might cause an injury that could affect his career. The other reason, he said, is that he doesn't want to be in a car if recreational or performance-enhancing drugs belonging to another wrestler are discovered by law enforcement officials.

'If they get caught, then I'd be (considered) guilty, too. If we get pulled over, we're both going down,' Henry said."

OK, Jimmy Uso wasn't arrested for drug-related offences, but I just thought it'd be a bit relevant.

BTW, I really recommend that Mark Henry article; some great facts in there. The biggest surprise of them all is slide 3. I won't spoil it here, I'll let you see for yourself.

OK, let's sum up last night's SmackDown:

Mark Henry did a promo with Booker T before he defeated The Great Khali in a match, then injures his leg with the steel chair, like he did to Big Show and Kane. (BTW, Khali's titantron froze right from the start; even the titantron's bored of him :p ) Oh, and Jinder's ****ed off at Khali while he's being stretchered out. He obviously knows he's gonna be relegated to Superstars now. :p

Evan Bourne lost to Jack Swagger after Bourne, while going for the Shooting Star Press, jobbed to the most pathetic push from Vickie Guerrero! That pretty much sets up Air Boom vs. Swagger and Ziggler for HIAC. Surprisingly, it still hasn't been announced, but I'm betting it'll happen.

Next, Sin Cara (Místico) vs. Heath Slater. Oh boy. Thankfully, it's over pretty quickly; Sin Cara wins with a Swanton Bomb. And then, Sin Cara (Hunico) appears on the titantron, and reveals a new black attire! Then he says a few interesting words: "You stole my identity once before as Místico, and now it's only right that I do the same to you. This Sunday, you will find out which one of us should be known as Sin Cara." Good to see WWE doing this. :) I'm gonna predict that Sin Cara will win. :p JK, I'd go with Hunico. Anyone remember when they did Kane vs. Fake Kane? Fake Kane won.

Now, backstage, we've got Christian, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler, Vickie Guerrero, David Otunga, and John "Executive Vice President of Saying the Same Thing a Million Times" Laurinaitis in a meeting together, planning on taking down Triple H, then saying that everyone's "all in for Monday", so let's see what happens on RAW.

Next, it's Barbie Doll vs. Natalya (who doesn't even get an entrance this week; she's not a jobber!), to hype up Beth Phoenix fighting for the Divas title at HIAC. And as usual, Natalya loses via rollup. Thankfully, the Divas of Doom crash the celebrations almost immediately, then Natalya puts her in a pretty devious submission while Beth holds a microphone to her. They might as well have gone and made the HIAC match an I Quit match! We haven't had one of those in three years (coincidentally, Beth Phoenix was in that one, against Melina, and Beth won).

Cody Rhodes (plus the extra-long pre-match promo) vs. Sheamus for the IC title. And surprise surprise, Christian attacks Sheamus and gets the match DQ'd.

Now, it's the Internet Champion, Zack Ryder, against... JTG??? Wait, this isn't NXT, is it? Hey, it ain't just me, even Cole mentions it! :p During the match, we got proof that Zack Ryder's made it big; Booker T said "Woo Woo Woo, You Know It!" And as expected, Long Island Iced Z defeats JTGizzle (Booker T again) with the Rough Ryder.

Laurinaitis is backstage and Triple H shows up, pretty much saying he knows about the "secret" meeting, and threatens to "wish him well in his future endeavours".

OK, main event time; Randy Orton vs. Christian. Randy goes psycho during the match, Christian tries to escape, he fails, eventually the ref counts out both of them, so it's a no-contest, and as soon as the bell rings, Orton just goes into full psycho mode. :p Well he does until Cody Rhodes makes the save for Christian with an impressive parkour-style kick off the ring apron. Then Sheamus evens the numbers, then chases Christian through the crowd. And then, Mark Henry's music hits. He goes to take Orton out with the steel chair, but Orton, in true SuperCena style, pops up from the mat and RKO's Henry.

Seriously, if they book Henry to lose the title to Orton at HIAC, I'll be ****ed. He's already a 9-time world champion. It's time for him to take a break from the WHC picture. They should make Sheamus the face of SmackDown now.

BTW, forgot to say that I saw these tweets from Kevin Nash about the whole medical "fiasco".

"To set the record straight, I passed physical w/ flying colors. Cardiologist was amazed at my lipid profile. Couldn't reach financial terms."

https://twitter.com/#!/RealKevinNash/status/111522739772338176

"I will not be addressing this matter again. I am moving forward with my life. Cena, it was great having the chance to get to know you."

https://twitter.com/#!/RealKevinNash/status/111523160645574657

So translated, Kevin Nash is a greedy b'stard. :p

OK, prediction time for Hell in a Cell!

Sheamus vs. Christian: Sheamus, obviously. Can't think of a way that Christian could weasel a win out of this one. I won't be surprised if he ends up getting himself DQ'd.

Sin Cara (Místico) vs. Sin Cara (Hunico): I said it earlier, I'm betting on Hunico to win this one. I also found a good reason to bet on Hunico; apparently, WWE are hitting Mexico soon, and that would be the perfect place to bring this rivalry to its peak. So get Hunico to win tonight at Hell in a Cell, then have the two face off in Mexico in a Luchas de Apuestas match (in this case, "Mask vs. Mask"), and have Místico win.

Divas Championship: Kelly Kelly © vs. Beth Phoenix: It's gotta be third time lucky for Beth Phoenix. If she doesn't win tonight, then what is the point of continuing this rivalry between the two? Because if I was writing this storyline and I booked Beth to lose the first time, I would have given the next title shot to Natalya then.

Now we come to the only two Hell in a Cell matches at a Hell in a Cell PPV...

World Heavyweight Championship: Mark Henry © vs. Randy Orton: I'm hoping for a Mark Henry win here, but after Randy RKO'ed Henry on SmackDown, I've got the feeling that he's gonna win back the title now. And if they do, then they've just treated Mark Henry like Christian.

WWE Championship: John Cena © vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. CM Punk: Tricky one to decide. Actually, not really. :p It's gonna be Alberto Del Rio. Let's look at the facts. John Cena's gonna be working up the rivalry with The Rock soon. It begins at Survivor Series, the logical step is to take him out of the title picture to focus on the rivalry. And CM Punk, as much as I'd love it, isn't going to regain the title, as he's still got the rivalry with Triple H, John Laurinaitis, and possibly Kevin Nash. That feud is almost certainly going to heat up to a huge match at Survivor Series for "control" of the company. So that leaves ADR. He's not in any big rivalries, so that leaves him to regain the title and begin working through some of the other title contenders, like John Morrison, Dolph Ziggler (if he loses the US title, hopefully to Zack Ryder), Alex Riley (I wouldn't like it too much, but it's slim pickings in the RAW roster), Jack Swagger, and maybe Mason Ryan, now that he's turned face.

wow what a crock...as I said on Facebook WCW called they want their storylines back!

I never watched WCW back when it was on (except for one solitary episode that I saw on Channel 5 :p ), so I've no idea what storylines WWE ripped off. Anyone care to put me out of my misery? :)

its been done before with the NWO stuff back in the day

Ah

I remember those times were Hell In A Cell matches were REALLY HELL IN A CELL matches. Henry vs Orton was horrible. If I remember correctly (aside from the cell usage) EVERYTHING done in the match, was legal in a normal match. Why even have it in a cell? Hype but thats it.

The triple threat was a bit better with the chairs and the table but still. The ending was pretty ****ty and as always, after 2 pipe shots, people have been busted open before; Why not now? **** the kids, people in the start of any "hardcore match" should start screaming "We want blood!"

On another note, wouldnt anyone be a bit more intrested in the divas division if Beth vs Kelly would have been in Hell In A Cell? :p Just a thought....

On another note, wouldnt anyone be a bit more intrested in the divas division if Beth vs Kelly would have been in Hell In A Cell? :p Just a thought....

I always wondered that...women should be promoted more on the show...btw the ending to that match was lame...I think we all knew Beth would win it but the way she won it was crap

SANTINO'S BACK!!!!!! :woot: :woot: :woot:

An immortal quote from JR:

"Well the closed captioning person just walked off the job!"

Oh god, when WWE were showing Awesome Truth's apology video, they left the top comment on the video there, which was "Kayfabe lives!"

    • 7 Days: Killing uBlock Origin bypasses, Euro Office faces fire, and will AI replace you? by Aditya Tiwari 7 Days is a weekly roundup of picks of what's been happening in the world of technology - written with a dash of humor, a hint of exasperation, and an endless supply of (black) coffee. This week's highlights include WWDC 2026 announcements, updates on child safety, and Meta's use of data from outside businesses to optimize your feed. Let's get started. You can check out the recent issues of the 7 Days weekly roundup. Killing uBlock Origin bypasses The hottest news of the week was about Google Chrome effectively ending most uBlock Origin workarounds (a free, open-source ad blocker extension) by permanently dropping MV2 extensions and their bypasses. Chrome is transitioning towards newer MV3 extensions. A recent discussion thread highlighted how the latest and upcoming versions of the most popular browser are expected to be its final releases with support for MV2 extensions. Genuinely European? Euro-Office faces fire The recently launched cloud-based office suite, Euro-Office, is facing criticism at home. The LibreOffice developer wrote an open letter criticizing Euro-Office for its marketing claim that it's the "first open-source office suite developed in Europe," since the honor has belonged to OpenOffice since 2001. The Document Foundation has called out Euro-Office, arguing that it can't consider "itself genuinely European" as long as it keeps pushing Microsoft defaults on users, adding that "it has to speak ODF as its mother tongue." Will AI replace you? Image: Tara Winstead via Pexels Microsoft's AI boss, Mustafa Suleyman, said in an interview earlier this year that AI would replace office workers within 12 to 18 months. Joining the ranks of top executives who have softened their stance on AI replacing humans, Suleyman recently walked back his earlier remarks and now says that AI will automate tasks, not replace entire white-collar jobs. He defended his earlier comments by arguing that they referred only to individual actions people perform at their desks. Louis Rossmann wants to sue Samsung Image: Louis Rossmann Tech repair entrepreneur and right-to-repair activist Louis Rossmann contacted Samsung support over a failed 4TB Samsung 990 Pro NVMe SSD. After back-and-forth communication, Samsung offered a $330 refund instead of a replacement, but Rossmann found that the SSD was readily available for new buyers at a higher price. He has issued a formal 60-day notice and intends to file a suit in Texas small claims court, as Samsung's actions reflect a failure to honor its warranty obligations. Samsung reached out to Neowin to clarify its updated stance that customers in such situations will receive a refund equal to the product's current market price. Child safety or mass surveillance? Image: Jonathan Borba via Pexels Signal accused the UK government of using child safety and device-level explicit content ban as a cover for mass surveillance. Calling the plan "dystopian," Signal warned that it violates everyone's fundamental right to privacy. The messaging platform believes that the government should keep children "safe" and "protected," but it should do so through social services and education. Fears of social media regulation Image via DepositPhotos.com More governments across the globe are tightening their grip on social media and bringing stricter regulations in the name of child safety. Bluesky COO, Rose Wang, warned that social media regulations could destroy competition from small startups and that heavy regulatory compliance costs favor deep-pocketed tech giants while locking out new entrants. Our Features Image: Pexels Our coffee-powered team publishes a platter of editorials, opinion posts, and guides. Here's what they got for the week: UK **** blockers are a looming privacy disaster, we must be able to see the source code This week in software news Image: Proton Catch up on some of the latest software news updates that arrived throughout the week: Dark clouds over PC makers: Building on our report from last month, Dell officially acknowledged that its own remediation software was causing BSOD issues and unexpected system restarts. HP is also facing equally frustrating issues involving recent Windows Secure Boot updates on Windows 11. Controversial icon: Spotify finally removed the disco ball icon from its app and replaced it with the familiar flat green logo after weeks of mixed reactions online. While some people don't like the new design, the retro, three-dimensional look has generated a following of its own. Even other brands are coming up with their versions of the disco logo. NVIDIA fixes stuff: A new hotfix driver 610.52 fixes various issues related to monitors and displays, noting that G-SYNC-related frame pacing troubles should now be resolved on Ada Lovelace GPUs. The feedback thread also points out that the hotfix patches a BSOD issue. FIFA World Cup tracker: Opera is redesigning its Android browser with a built-in football tracker for the upcoming World Cup in the US. The new homepage is now "more immersive" with easier access to common browser features. Command line for Proton: The Swiss technology company has launched a command line version of the Proton Drive, which you can use to manage your encrypted files directly from a terminal across all major platforms, including Windows, macOS, and Linux. This week in hardware news Image: Thermaltake Catch up on some of the latest software news updates that arrived throughout the week: Intel and AMD PCs in one case: Thermaltake's CAPO X dual-system chassis brings you the best of both worlds by supporting two microATX (mATX) motherboards and up to two 360 mm AIO liquid coolers. If you want ideas, maybe you can use one as your main PC and another as an AI agent. Google Tensor production: While TSMC will remain the lead producer, the search giant is reportedly in talks with Samsung to hand over part of the production of its next-generation Tensor AI chips. The upcoming TPUs are reportedly codenamed “Icefish” and will be produced using Samsung's 2-nanometer process technology. Lethal fake phone chargers: UK-based consumer rights organization Which? has warned that "potentially lethal knock-off chargers" are still being sold on online marketplaces, including Amazon and eBay, despite the dangers of such chargers having been exposed. This week in Google News Image: Google Catch up on some of the latest Google news updates that arrived throughout the week: Sliding into DMs: You might remember that YouTube had a direct messaging feature back in the day. It's now rolling out a revamped direct messaging inbox that lets you share Shorts, videos, and live streams and have conversations about them. New in NotebookLM: The AI-powered note-taking app got some new agentic capabilities and more advanced reasoning, thanks to support for Gemini 3.5 and Antigravity. NotebookLM can now generate outputs in more formats, making it easier to start new projects with less information. This week in Apple News Image: Apple Catch up on some of the latest Apple news updates that arrived throughout the week: WWDC 2026: This week was all about Apple's annual developer conference, where the iPhone-maker finally unveiled an upgraded Siri AI and a platter of new Apple Intelligence features. Siri AI now has a cross-platform app, which is supported on select models of iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, and Vision Pro. What's different about WWDC: I wrote a detailed feature this week discussing how Apple changed the WWDC keynote this year, blurring the lines between its operating systems. Apple didn't have dedicated segments for its operating systems this year and didn't even publish the official press releases. Liquid Glass slider (finally): It's that time of the year when Apple previews fresh updates for iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, and other platforms. A new transparency slider for Liquid Glass is coming to iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and macOS 27 Golden Gate. Is your device supported?: If you're wondering whether your Apple device supports the new developer beta builds, you can check the respective compatibility lists for iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27, and watchOS 27. Siri AI not coming to Europe: Yes, that's true due to complications related to the Digital Markets Act (DMA). While Apple penned a blog post to tell its side of the story, a European Commission spokesperson told Neowin that the DMA does not prohibit Apple from launching its services in the EU; the company is simply required to comply with the law. New child safety features: Apple announced a trove of new safety features for kids, including a simpler setup experience for parents, Ask to Browse, Time Allowances, and a redesigned Screen Time UI. Parents can now visit a new website to find answers to common questions around child safety features. More cloud power: Apple's Private Cloud Compute cloud infrastructure will now run beyond its own data centers for the first time. It's working with Google and NVIDIA to run new Apple Intelligence workloads on Google Cloud systems powered by NVIDIA GPUs. This week in Meta news Catch up on the latest Meta news updates that arrived throughout the week: Data from outside: Meta is rolling out a new update globally to personalize your AI responses and primary feeds using data from outside businesses. It already targets ads based on shopping activity, but the latest development enables it to personalize other "parts of your experience." There is a toggle in the Settings to disable activity from other businesses; however, it won't prevent companies from sending your data to Meta. Level playing field: The European Commission has ordered the social media giant to restore access to WhatsApp for third-party AI chatbots, including ChatGPT and Copilot. Meta previously blocked rival AI chatbots from operating on WhatsApp, prompting the Commission to launch an antitrust investigation. Spying on users: On the flip side, WhatsApp accused the Israeli cyber-intelligence firm, NSO Group, of deploying a fresh wave of targeted "spear phishing" attacks against its users, which were thwarted by WhatsApp's security teams. Reorder profile grid: Adding some customization for the profile grid feature, Instagram now lets you rearrange posts in your profile without deleting and reuploading content. Go to your profile and long-press any thumbnail to find the "Reorder grid" option. This week in AI news Catch up on the latest artificial intelligence news updates that arrived throughout the week: Claude RAM hogger: Windows users are getting infuriated by Claude Desktop's hidden 1.8GB Hyper-V VM bug, which spins up if you use Claude Cowork or agent mode even once. It shows a Vmmem process in Task Manager, indicating 0% CPU usage but 1.8GB of RAM usage. Claude Fable 5: The new state-of-the-art AI model from Anthropic beats OpenAI's ChatGPT-5.5 in multiple AI benchmarks. Claude Fable 5 sits above the Opus models and outperforms most other generally available models across knowledge work, vision, scientific research, and more. However, the model was abruptly suspended after receiving an export control directive from the US government. Stack Overflow for AI agents: The popular Q&A platform has launched Stack Overflow for Agents in beta, which AI agents can use to share, find, and reuse coding knowledge. It explained that AI agents operate in isolation, creating an Ephemeral Intelligence Gap, and valuable tokens are wasted on something another agent has already solved. Upgrading Codex: OpenAI is buying a company called Ona, which makes secure cloud execution and orchestration technology for developers. The ChatGPT-maker aims to make Codex agents run for days without being tied to a local machine or an active session. It also announced a new developer mode in Chrome. This week in open-source news Catch up on some of the latest open-source and Linux updates that arrived throughout the week: Linux 7.1 rc7: Linux Torvalds dropped an optimized rc7 with crucial fixes for AMD and laptop hardware. He said that a stable version of Linux 7.1 could arrive next week, adding that the latest RC is not small, but smaller than recent releases. Alpine Linux 3.24: The latest Alpine Linux release added support for COSMIC Desktop, Linux 6.18, IPv6 installer support, automatic serial console configuration for headless setups, and major package updates and removals. This week in Microsoft News Microsoft had to shut down more than 70 GitHub repos after they were compromised by malware, Teams is getting a controversial tracking feature that users may hate, and the company explained why the new update makes PowerToys faster. It's a smartphone-sized device with a rotating dial, sitting somewhere between premium and cheap in terms of build quality. Speaking of the pros, the physical controls are cool, the smart dial is useful, the battery life is good, and Android 15 has no-nonsense software. On the flip side, the device lacks software customization, the built-in AI needs improvement, the smart dial is a bit wobbly, and there is no ambient light sensor. EA Sports UFC 6 EA Sports UFC 6 does a better job at onboarding new players than most fighting games, according to Pulasthi's detailed review. The game comes with rewarding combat systems, top-notch animation, impressive impact physics, and visible damage on fighters. However, the menus lag a lot, grappling isn't very fun, and the flow state feels a little misplaced. More price drops! We got you covered with some hot tech deals all week. • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.
