I was fully expecting Kharma to return last night. A bit disappointed that she did not. So when Layla came out, apparently I "smirked" and this made my girlfriend mad, because that is what I do when I am attracted to somebody. Lmao.

oh you! :rolleyes:

Yeah, I saw that while I was scrolling through my feed watching the show. She's such a tease. :p

Apologies, but I LOL'd when I read that. :laugh: Hope you're not in the doghouse! ;)

[. . .] I don't like Super Cena either but the cut was so horrible to see

Oh yes. Very, very real. Brock drove the point of his elbow right across the top of Cena's head.

I have a feeling that it might have been planned. I reckon Cena might have cut that part of his head a bit before the match, and they glued it up slightly (or whatever it takes to temporarily stop the bleeding). Then Brock's elbows aggrevated the cut. That is how they made it seem so real. That's my theory anyway.

Orton and Kane - OK. We didnt expect anything awesome either.

Brodus Clay and Ziggler - Complete time filler and pointless match.

Cody and Big Show - The result (at least to me) was actually surprising. I mean, Big Show could have lost the match but by stepping on a table? I thought that was somewhat clever :)

Sheamus and Bryan - Second best match. Sheamus shows a few (very few) things we arent used to.

Ryback and 2 two guys - Another time filler. You have to love the Goldberg chants :p

Punk and Jericho - Stole the show. Best match.

Layla and Bella - First off, why the **** is this before the last match? No sense at all. It wasnt even a good match (When again, what diva's match is?) I think everyone got ****ed that Kharma some how some way didnt show up.....

Cena and Lesner - Again, stupid match. The only serious offense at all that Cena did was the chain and a AA which come on, Lesner came from UFC. Hes been in tougher situations than that to not be able to kick out of that (even if it is fake).

That been said, he being written off just like that, doesnt make any sense. Cena should have taken a beating and THAT would be a excuse to write him off. Not win and just thats it. You have to appreciate the goodbye as a fan (even though It was wrong of Cena; He should NEVER break out of storyline, irrelevent if the people know its fake)

Also, Chicago (I apoligize to anyone from there) fans were rather rude thruout the evening. Look, I understand guys like Bryan because they are great wrestlers get cheered (and idiots like Cena get booed) but some moments when they booed the faces kind of ruined some moments. Typical moment: A face trying to get out a hold and those punch.........a second pass............punch..........another sec.......punch........ moments and the hold is released: They are kind of ruined if that entire moment is booed all the time. Very rude crowd IMO. Many may not agree with me I understand....

Moving on, I called Triple H being on the next RAW :p And now with Cena out of the picture, Triple H might (again) take over the scene versus Lesner. Someone has to do it.

@htcz

NY and Chicago fans are true fans who stand for good IN RING wrestling rather than great out of the ring banter. That is why they cheer for a heel DB rather than a face Sheamus. It didnt ruin any moment for me because of one simple fact that crowds can push wrestlers that have no chance of being pushed by vince mcmahon. DB is that type of wrestler... someone not made by vince mcmahon, he will never be accorded any opportunity if it came down to the chairman. He has been given these opportunities because he is currently over with the crowd and thats about it.

I definitely do agree that lesnar cena storyline is something i dont understand unless cena is going to be the savior once lesnar starts steamrolling through everyone. However that is a weak storyline and doesnt do anything for cena character.

His goodbye appeared to be part of the storyline :)

Ah, (for reading Wikipedia :p ) I thought he was going going to take time off to film that movie he is in. My mistake :)

There are other organizations (such as UFC) which have true IN RING talent. rather than ACTING talent. If they want to see true IN RING talent, they can go to those organizations. If DB feels he isnt pushed enough, then same thing: He can go to those other organizations and have his talents be seen.

More so, Bryan was given early in his (second WWE) career a US championship. Knowing this is a entertainment promotion, do you want him to first off the first week be given a shot?

Miami has been said by various members in the this thread, that they were one of the best crowds at WM and the following RAW.

Of course all of this is my opinion and I understand yours. You want to see good wrestling, I simply want to be entertained. Completely understandable :)

Im seeing that a (later on, not right now since his arm is "broken") Triple H Lesner storyline coming on and seperated a Cena Laurinatis storyline. But obviously, Laurinatis is not Vince and Cena is not Stone Cold so I dont know how that it going to work.

One of the reasons I dont even watch Smackdown and every 2 weeks watch RAW....

@htcz

Good enough they ought to go to UFC but for a guy like me who has actually grown up seeing Iron Sheikh going at it with Hogan. In all my days of watching wrestling i have never seen anyone cut a better promo than Iron sheikh or have better in ring capability than him. There may have been some before him (of which i dont know) but since only Angle, Benoit and now DB come close. What i mean is that WWF/E has a sort of sentimental value for me coz i idolised some of these guys and i love the business (i stopped watching when they threw out Mr.Kennedy.... a real star player sacrificed at the altar of nepotism) now i started again with this year's royal rumble mainly coz of DB, jericho's return and to certain extent Punk's pipe bombs lol.

P.S Also william regal... the guy is the go to guy in wwe for anything in ring related for a lot of guys

Brock Lesnar's match with John Cena at Sunday's Extreme Rules pay-per-view got rave reviews from most fans who saw the show, but Lesnar went ballistic backstage after the match and was screaming at WWE officials and ripping apart the locker room.

According to PWinsider.com, the huge blow-up took place because of the promo John Cena cut after the match.

The original plan was for Cena to be so badly hurt by Lesnar that even though he won, he would be stretchered out, which would keep Lesnar looking strong.

Lesnar perceived Cena's speech as a double cross by WWE officials and totally lost it backstage.

The angle on RAW with Lesnar and Triple H and Lesnar's temporary departure from WWE television was the plan all along, but relations between Lesnar and WWE are not good at the moment.

    • Can we not have paperless office, like we was promised in the 80's
    • I actually laughed out loud in real life at the heading on this—whatever Microsoft is drinking, I want some of it.
    • Euro-Office must default to ODF to be considered "genuinely European", LibreOffice argues by David Uzondu Euro-Office is a web-based collaborative office suite that positions itself as a "European sovereign alternative" to American tech companies, backed by a coalition of developers including Nextcloud, IONOS, Abilian, BTactic, OpenProject, and, more recently, Tuta. The project officially went live a couple of days ago, but not before drawing heavy fire from LibreOffice developers, who called the marketing claim that Euro-Office represents the "first open-source office suite developed in Europe" a deceptive historical inaccuracy because projects like OpenOffice and LibreOffice existed decades earlier. Now that the project has launched, LibreOffice is back with another complaint, arguing that Euro-Office cannot consider itself "genuinely European" while it pushes proprietary Microsoft defaults on users. Euro-Office had promised to improve the OpenDocument Format (ODF) back in April, but the current release still plagues users with several technical failures. For instance, the suite lacks an admin setting to enforce ODF, and mobile editors completely block ODF saves, forcing files into Microsoft's OOXML formats. Some configurations force files into read-only mode, while editing frequently corrupts document formatting or erases data. LibreOffice thinks that merely supporting a format as an afterthought does not make you a sovereign alternative, as file formats are the battleground where" digital sovereignty is won or lost." The road to the first stable release of Euro-Office has been quite bumpy due to an aggressive public fallout with OnlyOffice, from which the coalition originally forked the project. OnlyOffice struck back by accusing the coalition of violating copyright terms under its AGPLv3 branding requirements by stripping the original branding anyway and forking the code. Getting Euro-Office up and running is a bit wonky (at least for non-technical users), as there is no direct installer to grab off the web. The easiest way we learnt is by using Docker. First, pull the official Euro-Office image from the GitHub Container Registry: docker pull ghcr.io/euro-office/documentserver:latest Then, run the container with active ports and a secure JWT token, enabling the test environment: docker run -i -t -d -p 8080:80 --restart=always -e EXAMPLE_ENABLED=true -e JWT_SECRET=my_secure_jwt_secret ghcr.io/euro-office/documentserver:latest And finally, open a web browser and go to the following address: http://localhost:8080 If you are running this on a remote server, replace localhost with your server's IP address. You will see the Euro-Office test page, where you can create new text documents, spreadsheets, or presentations directly in the browser. Image via Euro-Office Nextcloud promises that proper standalone desktop versions and mobile apps will arrive in a future release.
