I hate most of the bloody titles these days. Especially the spinner belt. I wish they could go back to one of the old championship belts. It would be easy because I am sure they have some around still. Also, they won't have to design an entirely new one. But I guess they would rather stick with the ridiculous. I guess it is an appropriate symbol for business in the past few years.

I like that they brought the old IC belt back

oh well I tweeted that a few days ago that show would screw Cena and he did...wish it weren't predictable

The creative team sure love torturing us... I would stop watching, but then I'd have no wrestling at all to watch. TNA is still abysmal, even after getting rid of the cancer known as Vince Russo. And ROH is fairly boring, plus half of the show is usually adverts/interviews. At least WWE's got NXT.

I can't believe I just said that!

Here's some interesting facts about Nature Boy Ric Flair:

  • Flair suffers from alcoholic cardiomyopathy, a form of congestive heart failure caused by long-term alcohol abuse. In spite of this, he still wrestles occasionally and takes all of his trademark bumps in those matches. He also suffers from panic attacks and has had at least one nervous breakdown.

  • This past April, Flair was evicted from his home in Charlotte, North Carolina because he was unable to pay rent.

  • While it was generally well known that he ignored his taxes throughout the '80s, it wasn't that his first encounter with the IRS over the owed taxes went relatively smoothly. In 1990, he paid $62,000 on back taxes from 1982, 1982, & 1988.

  • In November of 1990, Flair had to apply for a restricted driver's license that only allowed him to drive for work reasons after driving 95 miles per hour in a 65 miles per hour zone.

  • Many details of his near-decade long issues with stalker Deann Siden (who later had an affair with and stalked Kurt Angle) are covered. She started stalking him in 1990, following him everywhere, getting kicked out of arenas, and, by 1992, claiming they had an affair that resulted in a child named Tiffany. In 1998, Siden threatened to kill Flair and her daughter.

  • Flair finally had his lawyers press charges against her on his behalf, and she countered by filing a domestic violence complaint that claimed he threatened to kidnap and beat her if she didn't bring "his" daughter to visit. When she told Flair she'd drop her charges against him if he did the same in the case against here, it didn't work, and the whole mess ended with a judge issuing an injunction against her.

  • In general, there are a ton of debts and lawsuits we didn't know about. They're not surprising, but there are lots of specific cases that previously hadn't been reported. In one, Flair lost a judgment for unpaid tuition that his son's private school had sued for. He also has a variety of liens on his property.

  • While it doesn't absolve Flair at all, second wife Beth Harrell was also far too free-spending and contributed a lot to the deterioration of their finances.

  • Some of the ugly details of his divorce from Beth I remember being reported at the time, like Ric opening up wounds on his forehead when the police came during arguments so he could make her look worse. Others don't seem as familiar, and they're pretty messed up.

  • According to Beth, Flair would expose himself to friends, acquaintances, and complete strangers. I knew he did this around wrestlers, but not in his personal life. He would hang out with his mistress around the kids, he got into a fistfight with their son Reid at a wedding reception, use racial slurs to refer to her friends, brag about his penis size and demand sex from her.

  • Beth claims that Ric raped her when she refused to have sex with him.

  • Flair countered by claiming that, among other things, Beth cursed like a sailor, would assault him the provoke fights, encouraged him to have sex with other women, and was "mentally and physically slovenly."

  • The IRS started seizing Flair's earnings from WWE in April 2005.

  • When Flair and third wife Tiffany Vandemark met with a local restaurateur Greg Leon about a loan, Flair offered the engagement ring on her finger as collateral. A "female friend of Leon" urged him not to go along with it, so instead he took a Rolex watch, a boat, and a motorcycle.

  • Neither vehicle had a proper title, and thus Leon has been unable to sell them to get his money back. He won a judgment against Flair for the full amount owed but not all of it has been repaid.

  • Financial advisor Scott Storick bilked Flair and his family out of a lot of money in a situation way too involved for me to explain here. Again, everyone should read the original article, as scarily I'm just scratching the surface here.

  • "Ric Flair Finance," a disastrous online business that referred customers to lenders, was shut down because the "business model? turned out to be completely illegal."

  • Flair and Vandemark had their own ugly divorce. I had known that she had taken some of his possessions like an old ring robe and sold them to wrestling fans, but that was just the start of it. I'll just quote the article here:"She allegedly broke into the home using a shovel. In the process, she destroyed five "Flair Bear" stuffed animals and took 25. Also taken from Fliehr's house were 12 action figures, two handguns, three robes, a ruby necklace, and Fliehr's dog. One of the destroyed Flair Bears was found in a 'lewd and lascivious' position in Fliehr's pool."

  • Flair had inherited the necklace from his mother when she passed away.

  • He filed a complaint of stalking and assault against Vandemark when she hit him with a cell phone charger while trespassing on his property.

  • As of February, Flair was making about $22,000 each month in TNA, but they hadn't paid him any royalties in six months.

Wow she looks effin hot and completely diabolical... i love that lol

But too bad... this means the DB wont be getting the title around his waist any time soon. Which for the life of me i dont understand he is the most over character in the roster right now. Just give him a 2 -3 month title reign till summerslam.

The match was great between punk and DB... this should be brought to a logical conclusion at summerslam

Missed raw this time but if i remember correctly there was something about revolution on 28th may raw or something?

Hey rappy you in mood for doing some in depth digging?

All i know is that there was a face shown in the viral video and ewrestlingnews forums are saying that its either Punk, Matt Morgan or a FCW guy.

Watched RAW last night. Shut it off before the end. I don't know if its me, but WWE has gotten very boring. I miss the Stone Cold and Rock era. This PG-3 crap really sucks. No more flipping fingers, no more sexy Divas, no more good story lines, no more Stone Cold vs Vince sketches. WWE is going down the drain. It's just plain boring.

Good storylines dont have anything to do with the PG ratings imo... i believe Vince and his creative team are just not upto the mark. Jericho and Punk storyline was amazing imo and well acted and the matches were brilliant as well.

I believe that Vince is just not sure as to what to do with the talent right now... some of his picks like McIntyre couldnt make much of their chances and there really is a lack of talent on the roster right now.

By talent i mean good mic skills with above average in ring skills. From the generation that is supposed to take this show forward only Ziggler, DB and Punk come to mind. They are bringing in fresh FCW talent but it will take some time.

I am thinking of limiting myself to PPVs only... although i kind of wanna see where they take the DB vs Punk angle with AJ. That is about the only interesting thing not because of the love triangle thing but because DB and Punk cut great promos.

    • Why? Does anybody actually want this? The constant need to close all browser sessions and wait for a new version to install, just so that there’s a integrated coupon manager feels like a waste of everyone’s time
    • I remember when Louis used to just do interesting Mac/iPhone repairs, now he's boring and just launches "crusades" every week
    • A shame it don't allow people to bypass the MS account, I will stick to using Rufus.
    • Microsoft about to radically change how often your Edge browser updates by Paul Hill Microsoft has just announced that starting with Edge 152, it will be moving to a two-week release cycle for faster, smaller updates. This faster release cadence will begin on August 27. This change comes just several months after Microsoft switched Visual Studio Code to weekly updates. The company said that the Extended Stable releases will remain on an eight-week cycle and that no admin changes are needed to experience the faster release cycle on the Stable channel. The new two-week release cycle will enable the faster delivery of security updates and platform improvements, all while reducing the size and complexity of individual updates. Microsoft claims that organizations will benefit from this change as it offers predictable validation cycles. For organizations that prefer a “more deliberate pace”, the Extended Stable channel remains an option. This change will affect Edge Stable releases on Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile. The Extended Stable channel will continue to be updated every eight weeks, or every fourth Stable release, for example: versions 152, 156, 160, and 164. The Extended Stable could be a good option for organizations that don’t want the latest updates twice a month and don’t want as much hassle constantly updating browsers. In the case of Visual Studio Code, many of the updates being pushed by Microsoft are AI-related. As we all know, Microsoft Edge has a lot of AI features, so we could see Microsoft pushing more AI, thanks to the faster cycles. On the flip side, quicker releases could mean faster security updates, which is beneficial in a world where AI systems are hunting for software exploits. What do you think? Let us know in the comments. For more updates on Edge, be sure to follow Neowin's coverage. In May alone, we reported on Edge offering in-browser pop-ups to assist users with website compatibility issues, that Edge was losing Copilot Mode, and that Microsoft had fixed a plain-text password bug in Edge. • not yet, because at the moment it is not a threat to MS, if and I mean if it did become a threat to MS Office, then it may be a different thing. MS don't like competition
