Apparently what he did was illegal in Brazil. If it's a work, it's stupid. If it's real, it's stupid.

I am 100% sure that WWE authorized the stunt since those guys don't do anything without Vince's approval, but WWE being WWE, when they realized that it backfired on them, told Jericho to take the blame and apologize. It's easier to blame a single individual than a whole organization. WWE of course denies any responsibility on the issue, but we all know better.

Dear Scorbing,

Look into Fit Finlay.

Sincerely,

episode

What happened to Finlay? I haven't kept up to date about him. Last I heard he got in trouble for interrupting the national anthem at a WWE show.

"On Friday's show in Champaign, Illinois, for whatever reason, Miz interrupted a recording of "Star-Spangled Banner," the US national anthem. Representatives of the National Guard were angry at WWE for using this type of cheap heat, so since Finlay was the producer in charge of the show and presumably made the call, he had to be fired to appease them."

TNA sues WWE for "contract interference", unfair competition, and other issues stemming from insider information given to WWE

TNA filed a lawsuit yesterday in court in Nashville against WWE and former TNA and WWE office worker Brian Wittenstein for interference with existing contracts, conversion, breach of contract, civil conspiracy, unfair competition, and violation of the Tennessee Uniform Trade Secrets Act. They are also suing Wittenstein for breach of duty of loyalty.

TNA's lawsuit alleges that that Wittenstein, who worked for the company for three years before departing in 2011, provided WWE with inside information on TNA contracts and other matters from his time working in TNA's talent relations and live events departments.

While working for TNA, Wittenstein handled third party bookings for TNA contracts to work independents, scheduling and lots of talent related grunt work. TNA sources at the time of Wittenstein's departure stated he was let go. Wittenstein told PWInsider several months later he had quit.

Wittenstein was hired by WWE earlier this year and worked briefly under Michael Hayes as an assistant before being let go. According to the suit, WWE fired Wittenstein after he presented them with insider TNA information. However, TNA claims that WWE did not approach them with that information until 5/7, several weeks after they let Wittenstein go.

TNA's lawsuit claimed that WWE is now trying to poach contracted talent from TNA, using inside information from TNA contracts to their advantage. Several days later after being contacted by WWE about the Wittenstein issue, Ric Flair (who, as we've reported here, TNA has been having issues with) approached TNA trying to get out of his contract.

TNA is alleging that Flair was trying to get out of his contract in order to go to WWE and that since telling TNA he wanted out of his deal, has not appeared at live events, including the Sacrifice PPV.

In the last week, there have also been rumors that Alex Shelley had turned down a new TNA contract and was looking to go to WWE as well. While those stories have been making the rounds, PWInsider.com has not been able to independently confirm them. Shelley was not specifically mentioned in the lawsuit filing.

An injunction was issued earlier today demanding that WWE and Wittenstein each return whatever confidential material Wittenstein retained from his time working for TNA. They were specifically instructed not to "destroy" any of the material.

I am told a hearing regarding the case is already slated for next month. We'll have more information as we confirm it.

yeah no idea its funny...someone beat the beast up

If he did get beat up by another wrestler backstage, then he's getting more and more like Goldberg! Goldberg once got beat up backstage by Chris Jericho; and in unrelated incidents, Booker T once beat up Batista, and Sheamus got beat up by Yoshi Tatsu!

As noted late last night here on the website, Brock Lesnar was ringside at the UFC 146 pay-per-view. According to sources, Lesnar requested a cage-side seat to see what all the hype was about.

"He was here," UFC president Dana White said at the post fight Press Conference. "I think that says it all."

"He texted me and said, 'I want to come to the fight, but keep it quiet because I don't want to tell anybody,'" White said. "He said, 'What are you doing tonight? ... I want to talk face to face.'

"You never know with him. He might want to come back. He might just want to hang out."

The 34-year-old Lesnar ? who won the heavyweight title over Randy Couture back at UFC 91 after just two fights in the UFC ? had been battling a second round with diverticulitis (the disease cost him 12 inches of his colon in 2011) before retiring from the sport for good in December.

Perhaps Lesnar just had interest in Junior Dos Santos and Frank Mir's championship tilt since he had history with both fighters. The one-time Minnesota Viking and former NCAA Division I national wrestling champion split a pair of fights with Mir and was scheduled to fight Dos Santos after their season as coaches on "The Ultimate Fighter 13."

But there's always the chance that Lesnar (5-3 MMA record, 4-3 UFC) wants back in the octagon.

"I still think Brock Lesnar is one of the top guys in the heavyweight division," White said. "Is he in the top five? I don't know. We'll see."

"I think people get it now with Brock," White said. "Brock is a huge WWE star and huge UFC star. He's accomplished at both. ... He went back to the WWE. There's no secret. I think people get it. There's nothing fake going on here. It's real. They get it."

    • Visual Studio finally gets long-awaited feature that developers will love by Usama Jawad Visual Studio Code is Microsoft's popular, lightweight, open-source code editor, it is actually Visual Studio that is the company's flagship integrated development environment (IDE). Although the IDE already offers a boatload of useful features for developers, Microsoft has finally introduced a long-requested capability that will be loved by many. While developers have already been able to create Git pull requests (PRs) directly within Visual Studio for the past couple of years, it had not been possible to review a PR without switching to the browser, until now. Microsoft revealed in December 2025 that it is working on UX that enables developers to do just that, and fast-forward to June 2026, and Visual Studio finally has native capabilities to open and inspect a PR, discuss feedback, and wrap up the review, all without switching to the browser. This integration works for both GitHub and Azure DevOps (including on-prem). Developers have access to multiple surfaces to open a PR, including Git Repository, Git Changes, and the Git menu in Visual Studio. Once you open a PR, all the important details will be immediately visible to you, from where you can navigate to various levels of granularity and branch states, depending on the reviews that you are engaged in. As you would expect, you also get a diff view that enables you to see code changes inline or side-by-side in a separate panel. You can also review commit-by-commit. Additionally, this UX fosters collaboration as you can leave comments, reply to threads, and resolve conversations easily. Naturally, you can also leverage Copilot to apply a code suggestion to fix a potential issue. When you are done, you have the ability to approve, complete, and merge the PR. This is a pretty major feature as it has been requested heavily for the past few years. You can try it out in Visual Studio 2026 version 18.7, made available here recently. Microsoft plans to enhance this experience further in future releases with comment filtering, a timeline of PR activity, and more.

    • Around 68% of developers are now using AI to generate code during development, and some experts are saying that a single developer using AI tools can now do the work of an entire team of 4 to 5 engineers.  According to Figma's State of the Designer 2026 report, 72% of designers now use generative AI in their workflows and 91% say it improves the quality of their work, not just their speed.  But does this mean web developers and designers are becoming less relevant, or are they simply evolving into a different kind of role? Would love to hear from developers and designers here has AI made your job easier, or do you feel threatened by how fast these tools are improving
