Sin Cara may soon be released and could return to Mexico

According to Pwmania.com, promoters from AAA and CMLL believe that Sin Cara will soon be released from his WWE contract.

If this ends up being true, Sin Cara's tenure with WWE will be deemed a failure. He will go down as another wrestler who just wasn't a fit with Vince McMahon's company.

The move would be beneficial to both Sin Cara and WWE.

Sin Cara came to WWE with hype and momentum. He'd been a top draw and major star in Mexico since his debut as Mistico in 2004.

Wrestling Observer Newsletter awarded him their Best Flying Wrestler honor in 2006 and 2007 as well as Wrestler of the Year in 2006.

With Rey Mysterio's career tailing off, WWE seemed to have found his replacement.

Things haven't worked out that way. Sin Cara's short career with WWE has been hampered by his style not translating to WWE rings.

He's quickly gained a reputation for being a botch artist?a far cry from his respected position in Mexico.

Injuries and suspensions have further slowed his ascension up the WWE ladder and left a bad impression in fans' minds.

WWE fans familiar with his work as Mistico keep hoping for that megastar to appear?to tear out of the fog of disappointment Sin Cara has been trekking through.

Releasing Sin Cara would allow him to return to a country, a fanbase and a wrestling style that is far better for him. Certainly his paychecks will be smaller, but being beloved over being booed is valuable in and of itself.

WWE is a special brand of wrestling. Not every great wrestler can find a home here.

Sin Cara's reputation is so sullied here that he may never convince WWE fans that he's worth a roster spot.

Meanwhile, he could easily return to the freewheeling style of Lucha Libre without missing a step.

WWE needs to admit that the Sin Cara experiment has been a failure and allow him to return where he is appreciated and can thrive.

If it's true, then fare thee well to the most botch-prone wrestler to step in a WWE ring since Sabu.

It's also a black mark against HHHs rep as someone who recommends who to sign. Word was that Sin Cara was his first high-profile decision.

You're right there...

Sin Cara on way out. Good job Triple H. Great judge of talent and a great waste of time and money. Jim Ross can judge talent you know....

I'm sorry, but WWE should have taken a better look at Sin Cara or had him prepare more for the move to the US/NA style of wrestling/ring/whatever. It isn't Sin Cara's fault per se, nor do I think he's some sort of botch machine. I mean, check out some of his matches on Youtube, the guy is AMAZING. And I don't think I ever saw him miss a move or screw anything up in any of those.

It probably doesn't help that he doesn't (didn't?) speak a word of English when he came to the WWE. Not being able to convey by words in a sprt/arena that is very fluid and dynamic must make things incredibly hard for everyone involved. I for one would love for him to stay in WWE, but they have to give him a mouth piece. Also, screw it, pair him with Rey Rey.

It's diverse, big, and so much to see and do. I've bought every single Forza Motorsport and Horizon game, and by far my least played is FH5 at 100 hours, followed by the latest Motorsport. They've finally made a good one with FH6

      Sorry to be that guy but, Given Trump won again even after a failed first term it would appear attacking the other side is how to gain Government in America. Voters when it came down to it didn't give a s**t about those Democratic achievements and voted for Trump over an intelligent, qualified mixed race woman. We need to face up to this uncomfortable reality. There are more Americacan voters who support racism and christian bigotry along with defending and supporting pedophilia, adjudicated rapists, multiple time convicted felons etc than those who don't. Btw, that is how the world sees America now. Not that Trump voters care as they attempt to cocoon themselves in a white supremacy bubble.

      That's not clickbait. Clickbait is headlines like, "You'll never guess what this person looks like now" for example. For goodness sake, take a look around the internet if you think this is clickbait. How do sites survive if people don't click through to articles? How many people in all honesty would have clicked this if it had your suggested headline? You and those upvoting your post won't be happy until the web is a couple of hundred websites all behind a paywall.
