*snipped*

Evidently not. :p Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Piper, but his act gets restricted and watered down whenever he appears on TV nowadays, "thanks" to the PG rating, so I'm not getting too excited for him being on RAW tonight.

1000th RAW Episode Report

Is it me or is the crowd loosing interest in Sin Cara?

When he first started, the crowds went crazy and sheered like crazy whenever he came out. Now they are super quiet. Did anyone else notice that?

That's not a good sign.

...well, despite the ending (and the s**tty product placement, but that's America for ya), RAW 1000 ended up being better than most of the PPVs this year. So many funny/shocking moments; it's like they crammed a whole year's worth of moments (in the PG Era) into two-and-a-half hours (the other forty-five minutes were ads, annoyingly).

I'm still trying to work out when I was the most shocked: was it when Mae Young's "son" was revealed ("Wrong, Mae Young. Your true son was the fist for SmackDown in 2003"), was it when JR only commentated on the first match, was it when Lita came out to face Heath Slater and brought the APA with her, or was it when we all thought AJ was gonna marry Vince McMahon?!

No Stone Cold? No Stone Cold? One of the main faces of Raw for many years? I'm not going to assume the reason for him not being there (it could have been that he didn't want to do it or he had other committments), but I'm shocked and disappointed.

I think it would have been cool if they'd had time for Mick Foley to be featured in all three of his personas, in completely different scenes/promos.

I did find the show enjoyable overall, especially considering I don't tend to watch pro wrestling anymore. It was good for nostalgia.

I had hoped Lita would be featured, so it was great to see her, and I was certainly surprised when the APA came out (even though I knew Ron Simmons and JBL were going to be there, I hadn't twigged that they might come as the APA, haha).

I feel this show should have been longer so that they could have featured a bit more of the past: The Godfather, Too Cool, Edge, Stone Cold, maybe even Razor Ramon and Diesal (and more). Of course, I'm just saying that because I would have loved to have seen them all featured, haha; I'm aware it may not have been feasible.

whys china in a bad way?? I know she does porn now but she enjoys it so i dont see that being in a bad way.

I question that she enjoys it. She is a textbook cliche girl with daddy issues. Oh love me, oh give me attention, if I do this people will love me / respect me / give me their time... Naw! She is not mentally right, she's frail and weak in the head and really using porn as another outlet for this, a way she can make some cash and stay in the public eye.

No Stone Cold?

I was disgusted. The guy WAS Raw for a decade or so!

Razor Ramon (Scott Hall) is problally never going to return to wrestling.

I was hoping he'd be able to make appearances, rather than wrestle. Kind of like how X-Pac did last night even though he's had problems.

yeah but then again i wonder how an older generation of wrestlers (hogan, flair, pipper, duggan, vader, etc.) still kicks ass and a newer generation get's f**k up so soon? i know those old wrestlers aren't a great example of healty lifestyle, but they manage to get old nevertheless.

I haven't watched it yet, but apparently, it wasn't just Stone Cold that was missing last night... we didn't get to see Edge either. To not have their most recent Hall of Famer there was weird indeed.

I knew Cena was going to wind up losing. I called it! See, it won't and doesn't hurt his character in the least. Especially since CM Punk apparently turned heel last night (odd way of doing it but hey whatever WWE) when he attacked the Rock. I wonder if they are still going with Rock-Cena 2 at WM or they are going with Rock-Punk or someone else?

BTW, anyone else want to see Daniel Bryan vs. Rock? I think that would be an amazing match up.

    • Frankly, I blame whoever is writing such articles. "A big improvement/update and/or new feature is now available to everyone! Also, use some unofficial tweak tool to enable it because it actually isn't available to you yet and might not in fact even be entirely ready or whatever, hence why it is perhaps not enabled for you*. But it's great and you should enable it!" I mean there's nothing wrong with sharing info about some feature you might need to enable via unofficial means, of course. It's just that these articles tend to essentially end up being two news pieces in one, and one of them tends to be a bit misleading. (*Yes, yes, the "it's a controlled rollout!" thing. Not a fan of that one either. The argument, not the actual rollout.)
    • Thank you. Will do. I read in the release notes that editor config might be at play here.
    • Actually, I think even Microsoft doesn't know how to control it
    • OpenAI is making Codex more useful in Chrome and the cloud by Pradeep Viswanathan OpenAI's Codex now has more than 5 million users, up nearly 4x from earlier this year. To further accelerate Codex's growth among developers, OpenAI today announced that it has agreed to acquire Ona, a company that builds secure cloud execution and orchestration technology for developers. Ona will enable developers to run Codex with persistent and controlled cloud infrastructure for long-running agentic workflows. Right now, most Codex execution happens locally on developers' laptops and PCs, and the agents work continuously for hours. Through Ona, OpenAI aims to make Codex agents keep working for days without being tied to a user’s local machine or an active session. This will be an important capability for enterprises that want to deploy AI agents in production while maintaining control over infrastructure, data, security boundaries, credential scope, logging, and review workflows. Like any acquisition, the deal is still subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals. Until the deal closes, OpenAI and Ona will continue to operate as separate companies. After closing, Ona’s team will join the Codex team to improve developer workflows. Alongside the Ona acquisition announcement, OpenAI today introduced a few Codex updates. Developers can now save Codex rate limit resets and use them later instead of losing them when they are not needed immediately. OpenAI is also adding a referral option where users can invite a friend to Codex and get a saved rate limit reset. OpenAI today also announced a developer mode for browser use in Chrome and the Codex in-app browser. With this mode, Codex can use the Chrome DevTools Protocol to debug web apps, inspect pages, and work more directly with browser-based development workflows. Developers can use this when they want Codex to profile JavaScript, inspect console output and network traffic, examine web page states including the DOM and applied styles, and more.
