^ To quote Wrestling Memes, "I refuse to believe Cena is badly injured until he drops that belt. As far as I'm concerned until that moment it's a work."

How does that even make any sense? We know Punk was injured - heck, he even had surgery and missed a month - and he still didn't drop the belt until WWE wanted him to. Cena will defeat Ryback at Extreme Rules. Doesn't mean this injury isn't legit. They changed the last few days of matches to six man tags with Cena barely becoming involved in the match. He's injured.

HOPEFULLY this will finally convince Vince that Ryback sucks and needs to be far away from the main event. How many injuries is this? 3?

Really? I have seen people injury their Achilles tendon by walking off a sidewalk wrong. It isn't like he kicked some hitman in the head with a mule kick and gave him a career ending concussion.

Other than that, yes, he should not be in the main event. Let him fade away.

You're right - injuries happen. But for three stars to be injured with Ryback in basically 6 months of main-eventing, it says he isn't safe. Do you know why they put Cena with Kane before WM28? Because they knew he was safe, and Cena wouldn't get injured working with him.

Antonio Cesaro granted several wishes with WWE and Make-A-Wish while the company was in Switzerland earlier this month. These are Cesaro?s first wishes as a WWE Superstar. He was also named WWE?s Swiss Make-A-Wish Ambassador.

The Undertaker could now be added to next month's WWE Extreme Rules pay per view, reports F4WOnline.com.

The feeling internally is that the event might need more star power with CM Punk out and the possibility of John Cena's injury keeping him off the show. The Undertaker would be added specifically to make up for their absences.

Keep in mind that The Rock was also expected to work the Extreme Rules event prior to his injury, but there are also reports claiming WWE and Rock might have had a falling out just prior to WrestleMania 29.

There's no word on what Undertaker's role will be or who he might wrestle at the pay per view, if he is in fact added to the line-up.

A new report from WWE's recent European tour suggests John Cena was working with a bruised heel for at least a portion of the trip. F4WOnline.com is also reporting that it's believed Cena's Achilles injury took place during a Tables Match with Ryback on April 21st.

Following the injury, Cena continued to work the tour, but was placed in six-man matches with him, Kane and Daniel Bryan teaming up against Ryback, Dolph Ziggler and Big E. Langston.

His injury is also the reason he was protected on last week's edition of Raw from London and kept out of the dark main event.

    • Linux 7.1 arrives with an NTFS overhaul and major hardware performance boosts by Paul Hill The founder of the Linux kernel has just announced the availability of Linux 7.1. This is a stable version of the kernel that will now be tested by various Linux distributions before it is shipped to users through update managers. Some users, like those on Debian, for example, might not get it for a long time, if at all, while Fedora users can expect it in the near future. With Linux 7.1 out on time, the merge window for Linux 7.2 is now open, giving contributors the opportunity to send in major new features that have been waiting for the last two months. Torvalds warned that he is currently travelling and will be in another timezone, so timing for the merge window may be irregular due to timezone differences and limited internet access. Torvalds said that he has already fetched early pull requests to allow him to do some offline work, but the travel could still cause disruption. Right now, he is not planning to extend the release, but did consider it. He said he might later regret not extending, though. In terms of this last week of development for Linux 7.1, Torvalds said there were no major or alarming changes. This week consisted mostly of smaller driver updates to GPU, networking, and sound, networking fixes, trace tooling fixes, and misc minor fixes. The shortlog this week lists fixes for driver bugs, memory leaks, I/O and USB fixes, networking and RDMA fixes, DRM/graphics fixes, and tooling and verification improvements. Specific fixes include USB series heap-overflow and buffer overflow fixes, and multiple use-after-free, memory-leak, and refcount corrections across subsystems such as i2c, zram, gpio, and net. There are fixes for graphics drivers, including amdgpu, i915, and virtio, as well as hypervisor and virtualization tweaks affecting mshv, vmbus, and hyperv. According to Phoronix, anyone running Linux 7.1 should look out for the new NTFS driver, Intel FRED for improved performance on Panther Lake and future CPUs, faster graphics with Intel Arc Battlemage, and improvements for older AMD Radeon GPUs. If you are running Linux on your computer and everything is fine, then you don’t need to worry about updating to Linux 7.1 as a priority; just wait for it to be pushed to you. If you have tried Linux on hardware but it didn’t work properly, trying again with a distro that uses Linux 7.1 could cause Linux to work on your machine, thanks to the new hardware support.
