:pinch:

Thankfully, it looks like Roderick Strong is ok. He's following up with a physician this week before he returns to action.

Isn't that from ECW? Sure looks like Mike Awesome nuking Tanaka from the old days. The big guys hair sure makes it look like Awesome.

No, it's from ROH. BJ Whitmer on Jimmy Jacobs.

That rivalry was amazing, such a sad way Awesome went out :(

Big rumor in the wrestling world is that Jeff Jarrett will be starting a new wrestling promotion funded by country music star Toby Keith and that Jim Ross might be involved. Rumor has it that Jarrett is saying that TNA is on it's last legs and likely won't last until the end of 2014.

:/

Here's the big announcement for Wednesday, courtesy of Kayfabe News. It's a pretty big spoiler.

The high-tech industry is abuzz today after the recent announcement that World Wrestling Entertainment has indeed released a smartphone app.

The existence of the app had been rumored for months, but WWE has been uncharacteristically tight-lipped about the technology.

WWE commentators and personalities have not yet mentioned the app on television, leading many tech industry insiders to conclude that the WWE App was merely in the idea stages.

?We decided not to do any traditional advertising or on-air promotion,? said WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

?Instead, we wanted word to spread organically by word-of-mouth.?

Commentator Michael Cole is said to be one of the earliest adopters of the app, but he had not publicly shared his thoughts about it until today.

?Meh, there are millions of apps out there,? Cole told Kayfabe News.

?The WWE App is fine, I guess, but it?s no Angry Birds.?

    • Not such a great deal, Ultimate, which gives you full 5080 features is $181.99 CAD per month, that's $2183.88 per year, I can buy the 5080 for $1809.99 CAD, then it goes up to $279.99 per month after the first billing cycle. Typical cloud rental, costs more than buying the hardware.
    • Wow, spoken like a true blind hater, you don't even provide arguments. Please, go check my comment above to @seacaptain and you'll find out why what you say doesn't make sense in this context...
    • Get used to this, with AI tooling now uncovering new vulns and getting them exploitable far faster than has ever been possible before software is going to need to be updated far more frequently. Back in the day it may take reseachers weeks or months to do what AI can now do in hours. Once its a threat is discovered it's weaponsized far more quickly, meaning you simply can't be waiting 2, 3, 4 weeks to deploy a patch, it needs to be patched immediately. Going to be interesting handling this in the enterprise space where traditionally patching has been steady, but very staged (and rightly so up until now), that is going to have to change.
    • You don't need to "close all browser sessions constantly" or wait for updates to install. The updates download in the background while you use the browser, without interrupting you, they install automatically the next time you launch the app. And they install very fast (depending on your storage speeds, of course), you have to wait at most 2-3 extra seconds, if any. Seems like you haven't used Edge in a loooooooong time...
