As was the case with a Las Vegas ticketing website spoiling the WWE return of Batista prior to WWE being able to make the announcement itself, another website appears to be doing the same thing.

The Winnipeg Sun is reporting that Chris Jericho, who is originally from Winnipeg, will be appearing at the March 7th WWE Live Event at The MTS Centre. You can check out the advertisement at this link.

As usual, Jericho has denied a 2014 WWE return on Twitter, and has instead stated numerous times that he and his band Fozzy would be working on a new album.

Lets hope that they dont make it like Brian is still in the Wyatt family... And this is all a setup or something...

I think this was the plan, but they pushed it quicker for some reason - probably because they didn't want it overshadowing Boretista's return next week.

In other words, no, I don't think he's going back. If he had done what he did without stripping off the overalls it would be different IMO.

TNA released Jay Bradley and Wes Brisco on Monday.

Bradley was released almost a year to the day since he made his TNA debut as a contestant on Gut Check.

Wes Brisco, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Gerald Brisco, had been written off television during the final days of Aces & Eights.

With Dixie Carter announcing on Twitter that the company will be bringing in some fresh faces soon, it?s not surprising that the company is also releasing people to make room for the new talent.

No real loss for once.

WZ has learned from sources in WWE that a character change is expected for Kofi Kingston.

We've been told a change in both entrance music and booking is expected in the future weeks for Kingston. It's not clear what direction WWE creative is aiming for in terms of him being a heel or face, or who he will work with, but he's become a priority in WWE creative meetings as a talent to use more of.

As seen tonight on Raw, Kingston defeated WWE World Champion Randy Orton, which we have been told is the first sign that change is coming for the former U.S. and Intercontinental Champion.

We will continue to bring you more information as it becomes available.

Monday?s RAW saw Daniel Bryan break free of the Wyatt Family and lead the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island to one of the most electric ?Yes!? chants of all time.

Unfortunately, we can report exclusively that Daniel Bryan was diagnosed with a concussion shortly after RAW went off the air.

We are still waiting on details regarding how the injury occurred, but it?s now highly unlikely that Bryan will be wrestling at tonight?s WWE SmackDown tapings from the DCU Center in Worcester, Massachusetts.

WWE has yet to confirm the story, but this comes from a reliable source high up in the company.

    • Linux 7.1 arrives with an NTFS overhaul and major hardware performance boosts by Paul Hill The founder of the Linux kernel has just announced the availability of Linux 7.1. This is a stable version of the kernel that will now be tested by various Linux distributions before it is shipped to users through update managers. Some users, like those on Debian, for example, might not get it for a long time, if at all, while Fedora users can expect it in the near future. With Linux 7.1 out on time, the merge window for Linux 7.2 is now open, giving contributors the opportunity to send in major new features that have been waiting for the last two months. Torvalds warned that he is currently travelling and will be in another timezone, so timing for the merge window may be irregular due to timezone differences and limited internet access. Torvalds said that he has already fetched early pull requests to allow him to do some offline work, but the travel could still cause disruption. Right now, he is not planning to extend the release, but did consider it. He said he might later regret not extending, though. In terms of this last week of development for Linux 7.1, Torvalds said there were no major or alarming changes. This week consisted mostly of smaller driver updates to GPU, networking, and sound, networking fixes, trace tooling fixes, and misc minor fixes. The shortlog this week lists fixes for driver bugs, memory leaks, I/O and USB fixes, networking and RDMA fixes, DRM/graphics fixes, and tooling and verification improvements. Specific fixes include USB series heap-overflow and buffer overflow fixes, and multiple use-after-free, memory-leak, and refcount corrections across subsystems such as i2c, zram, gpio, and net. There are fixes for graphics drivers, including amdgpu, i915, and virtio, as well as hypervisor and virtualization tweaks affecting mshv, vmbus, and hyperv. According to Phoronix, anyone running Linux 7.1 should look out for the new NTFS driver, Intel FRED for improved performance on Panther Lake and future CPUs, faster graphics with Intel Arc Battlemage, and improvements for older AMD Radeon GPUs. If you are running Linux on your computer and everything is fine, then you don’t need to worry about updating to Linux 7.1 as a priority; just wait for it to be pushed to you. If you have tried Linux on hardware but it didn’t work properly, trying again with a distro that uses Linux 7.1 could cause Linux to work on your machine, thanks to the new hardware support.
