Already did. He's on hiatus again, probably until SummerSlam.

Oh for crying out loud, you're kidding right?  You don't end the streak to just not be a regular for at least a while.

Eat, sleep, paycheck, repeat (after a long break)

Shawne Merriman isn't locked into a WWE deal just yet ? TMZ Sports has learned the former NFL star is still hammering out a contract ? but it's not just for his announcing skills.

Merriman made his WWE debut during the WrestleMania 30 pre-show as an analyst ? and he was pretty damn impressive ? so now the two sides are working towards finalizing an agreement.

We're told announcing isn't the sole reason for his contract though.

Merriman will also train at the WWE's Performance Center in Florida ? and depending on his progress, Shawne could get a chance to wrestle other developmental talent on their WWE Network show NXT.

Referee Chad Patton did not know that The Undertaker would be losing to Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXX. He was told Taker was winning but the rule every referee is told is that if the guys don't kick out, you continue the count. Right after the match ended, Lesnar whispered in Taker's ear, "Thank you."

Apparently the decision to end The Streak was finalized on March 31st. Only a few people knew the outcome before WrestleMania Sunday. The group of people that knew were most likely Vince McMahon, Taker, Lesnar, Paul Heyman, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. None of the agents were aware. The actual script for the show did not have a finish listed but this didn't raise any red flags because that's not unusual for WrestleMania and it wasn't the only match that didn't have a finish listed.

Whether or not The Undertaker is done, Vince was going on the assumption that this was his last match and he could either win or lose. McMahon chose the idea that it's better to lose on your way out. One person close to the situation said Vince talked Taker into losing. Another person, who would also be in the know, described it as Vince making the call and Taker agreeing, and that he wasn?t talked into doing something he didn?t want to do. Losing was not Taker's original decision but he was in on it and never protested the decision. Perhaps, like he thought in 2010, if he was going to lose, maybe he thought Lesnar was the guy to lose to.

There were many people within WWE very unhappy about The Streak ending but couldn't say so publicly.

I don't think even Heyman knew if you look at it...

Also I doubt Lesnar whispered anything like that; Lesnar looks like a complete ###### in and out of the ring. At least on video, there is no angle where it seems that he whispers, much less that. Personally, I think the only people that knew about the streak was the McMahons and Levesque, problably the guy that was most ###### off. He knew his HIAC match was WAY better than Lesnar's and he would have ended it on a high note.

I disagree with Vince having "the last word"; Undertaker wanted to end the streak some time ago. Im sure Vince talked to him and knew his physical state so it was better to end the streak, but at the end of the day it was Undertaker who choose this. Vince could have lied and waited till next year for String vs Undertaker and gotten a HUGE intrest in that match.

The only thing I agree is with people being upset. The problem isn't the streak ending, but its with Lesnar. Lesnar isn't HOF material. I mean, I think people would prefer Drew Carey (HOF) to end the streak! (This is a joke obviously).

At the end of the day, history is written so there is nothing that can change that. The future? Well, logic says that Undertaker gets revenge but at 50....then the Sting thing at 51? I don't know. After this, I just see the next WM getting inducted into the HOF.

In order of WWE's policies, Im not a fan of the idea of allowing Cesaro to use the Neutralizer on big guys; Imagine if, not because of Cesaro's fault, he botched that and Big Show handed on his head.

Yeah, I can see what you mean. I've seen similar talk about the Styles Clash recently; not for just big guys but in general, I've seen talks on whether it should be banned after Lionheart (from Preston City Wrestling) broke his neck last month.
