Not even 24 hours after announcing that he will compete in the UFC Octagon, former WWE Superstar CM Punk has walked away from the deal, insisting that ?it just wasn?t fun anymore.?

Punk appeared on an episode of Colt Cabana?s ?Art of Wrestling? podcast today to break his hours-long silence about why he quit mixed martial arts, citing a list of grievances including mismanagement, unaddressed health problems, and the absence of UFC ice cream bars.

?Being in UFC was awesome for the first few hours, but after that I just kept adding notches to my frustration badge,? he said, using a peculiar metaphor invented by Cabana during a previous conversation.

Punk explained that, since joining UFC yesterday, he has constantly sacrificed his health and happiness for the company without proper acknowledgement from boss Dana White, so this morning he abruptly returned to the Chicago house that wrestling fans bought for him.

?I?m already so much happier,? he said. ?I honestly haven?t been this happy in, like, hours.?

Although Punk has every right to choose whatever career path he desires, and owes nobody anything, thousands of irate, semiliterate UFC fans are already calling him a ?quieter.?

Punk is reportedly considering several new career options, including pro hockey, the US Presidency, and chief lyricist for the Wu Tang Clan.

Sadly that freedom of speech lets trolls run wild

Most of your posts are anti-punk/pro-vince with a clear intent of baiting people. It's beyond obvious what you're doing. You defend Vince like it's personal. You know the guy or just wish that you did?

Everyone can have an opinion, just don't be a jerk about it and act as if only yours counts.

Most of my posts?! Oh, please do show me, it will be an interesting read.

And to me, you're the one acting like a jerk, because I never said "you're stupid, Vince is right and you're wrong" to anyone. All I said is that people are so quick to jump to conclusions based on some tweets this punk character posts and that they automatically bash WWE because, well, it's a business, not an individual. As long as you don't have access to punk's contract or whatever, I have the same right to post my opinion on punk as you have to post yours on WWE/Vince.

Oh cry me a river. It's as clear as that wwe mistreats their wwe. A good example was Benoit and Kurt angle. So similar stories from different wrestlers. Anyway a lot of the wrestlers praised Punk for coming clean and telling it as it is. However we know they can't say anything because that would be career suicide. And man up seriously. Calling people a jerk lol.. Like wow

Dude, it's called freedom of speech

Says someone from Romania.  On a privately owned website.  Hosted in another country...

Every time someone quotes "freedom of speech" out of context, Bono get's a clone.  Is that what you want?  A world full of Bono?

What does the country have to do with anything? And while this is a private website, they DO have moderators that can say if someone's post is outside the rules. Posting an opinion (you need a definition of this?) that doesn't agree with other people's opinions, while NOT offending anyone (like I said, I never stated that you are idiots for you opinions and I'm the allmigthy) doesn't go outside the rules. If I'm wrong, I would like to ask a moderator to delete my posts.

I'm not obligated to like that punk character, or to agree with what he says/does, so I can say absolutely anything I want about him. By your judgement, I can say that those who call Vince an ###### are trolls and idiots, right?

    • It is silly there is no simple way to check whether this profile has been activated. CFRs are normal, but trying to even hide the fact if it's on / off seems silly, especially for something so user-facing. Surely Microsoft is "proud" of their engineering efforts on this one and ought to display it somwhere in the GUI.
    • Many Linux distros are not known for excellent battery life, so I'm not sure that is the best example. A more apt example may be Apple, but Apple's CPUs are simply far more efficient than Intel & AMD at single-threaded tasks like these, so "boosting" is not as power-hungry and less heat-inducing. Not to mention Apple will hardly engage P-cores for basic UI tasks; they use a pretty complicated QoS scheme to only activate P-cores for more serious workloads like HTML / JS execution or decompression or application launch. Microsoft is (smartly) doing it for launch, but also for UI tasks, which is the more nonsensical part: why ... do Windows 11's UIs need modern CPUs to boost? It should load so quickly that there's not even time for the CPU to boost.
    • I've not seen any controlled testing and, judging by Microsoft's mentality, within a year, they'll have added so much more bloat, it'll undo any perceptible latency benefit and we'll have boosted the CPU clocks for nothing.
    • It depends: heat soak is a thing. Initially on cold boot-up, the heatsinks & heatpipes are at ambient temp. After heatsinks & heatpipes warm up (through normal usage), they don't immediately cool to ambient temp when the load goes away. So their baseline is higher and the trigger point for fans is much less stress. Add a few more CPU spikes → it's too hot to stay at the same fan RPM → fans get triggered to start up up much sooner / get triggered to ramp much more quickly.
    • Can LibreOffice just shut up and worry about themselves and stop comparing themselves? Do we see Microsoft complaining about euro office?
