If Triple H's ego would not have gotten in the way this would have been a near perfect Wresltemania. To book Sting to lose to the hammer while doing the stinger splash was really poor. Extremely disappointing. In the build up to this match, Sting had a counter for everything HHH threw at him. To keep with the line he should have seen that coming and countered and got the win.

 

1) If you haven't watched 'Wrestling Isn't Wrestling' then do it and you'll see the answer.

2) Sting sucks. What a great 'splash'. His feet barely even leave the ground.

doubt it. they're probably gonna throw him into a program with rollins now, develop his heel character and eventually give him the belt

 

Oh, its going to be the three SHIELD members feuding I think. But I don't think they'll put the belt on him anytime soon. He's the worst.

So I don't think that was going to be Sting's only WWE match. Let's face it, that was a pretty good match. Sting was obviously in ring shape (though he still winds fast, but let's give him some old age breaks here) and put on a damn good match with a guy who could make paint get over.

 

I bet you anything it'll be Sting vs. HHH at WM 32 next year and Stinger gets the revenge win (hopefully without all the DX and NWO ######).

I agree, I would've done the same thing.

its ironic in that he finally joined the company, but still doesn't get put over. the wwe,and especially triple h's ego wouldn't allow it. I also thought jbl's commentary was dreadful. he was probably getting fed those lines by vince in the back.

then what was up with the handshake in the end? it made absolutely no sense. there will be no rematch. you don't shake the guy's hand if you were to work a rematch angle.

JBL's commentary is the only good part of the current commentary, Maggle!

 

The handshake made zero sense. Unless they address it tonight.

      AFAIK you shouldn't be getting a consent popup at all from Canada, so I think it is to do with a VPN or private/secure DNS.
