You can add former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Christian to the list of WWE talents that have been released in the past week. His release has nothing to do with his agreement to do TheEdge & Christian Show and is more of a technicality do to him no longer having an active performer’s contract. Christian received a concussion in March 2014 and WWE then decided to stop using him due to his history with concussions.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is also reporting that there were several internal lists going around last week and two other names on the lists that have not been released yet were Rybackand Adam Rose.

Rose is still serving a 60-day suspension due to suffering his second wellness policy violation. He is also currently under arrest following a domestic battery charge involving an incident with his wife. On top of his 60-day suspension he is now also suspended indefinitely.

Ryback has recently been very outspoken against the company and has not been used by WWE since his outspoken comments.

Am I correct, that this is Cody Rhodes saying this?  I don't use twitter, so had to scroll a while to see who it is.

Yeah, it's his personal account; he keeps it separate from Stardust.

Yeah, looks like he and Goldy are done in WWE for now. Shame for both of them really. Shame on WWE as always for not using talented people to the fullest extent, as per usual these days. Don't know what Dustin will do now (I mean he is getting up there, but he's in great shape so...) but Cody could do any number of things. Of course, he could just take time off from the game, recharge and then come back to the game again in the future (not necessarily WWE mind you).

Yeah, I imagine Cody will either take a break and come back to WWE or retire altogether; as much as I'd like it, I don't think he'll wrestle anywhere else.

I am not that surprised that Cody Rhodes is calling it quit. How many gimmicks did he have over the years to be stuck on midcard or in comedy roles? He did play his role and everything but to what results?

That aside, and after watching several videos of What Culture Wrestling channel on YouTube, I have come to realize that WWE programming and main roster are awfully weak compared to a few years ago.

A lot of stars coming from NXT have totally faded away to filler roles (The Ascension, Adam Rose, even the Wyatt family) and other have been buried to death (Ziggler, Ryder, Ryback)

Where are the Edges, the Kurt Angles, the DDPs, the guys that could pull out six stars matches or feuds?

Which brings me to my Extreme Rules predictions

- Kickoff Pre-show: No DQ Match,

Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin

I really do not care about this feud: both could be pushed from the zero level they are at now. I am going to pick Corbin over Ziggler

- Texas Tornado Tag Team Match
The Usos vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson

I would be nice to have the Bullet Club win to build the faction, otherwise, why these guys came from NJPW?

- Asylum Match
Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho

Dean Ambrose so that Jericho can stop his WWE run on a high note. (Jericho was tremendously good in this run, hats to him)

- Fatal 4 Way for the WWE Intercontinental Title:

Claudio Castagnoli vs. El Generico vs. Kevin Steen vs. The Miz
Wait, this is not ROH????

This could be the match of the night. I am going to pick The Miz because Vince Mc Mahon does not like the indies

- WWE Tag Team Title Match
The Vaudevillains vs. The New Day

The New Day over the Vaudevillains and the Vaudevillains will be sent with the Ascension in the tag teams that had success in NXT but failed on arrival in the main roster box

- WWE United States Title Match
Rusev vs. Kalisto

As interesting as Ziggler vs Corbin, I am picking the one fourth of the League of Nations (another gimmick that fizzled in less than two months) over Kallisto

- Submission Match for the WWE Women's Title
Natalya vs. Charlotte

That feud was surprisingly properly built up with the help of the old guard.

It would be nice to have Natalya have a belt

- Extreme Rules Match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title
AJ Styles vs. Roman Reigns

As much as I am a huge fan of Styles and I think that a WWE championship would be nice in the totally overloaded display case of Styles championships, there is no way Styles is going to win.

First, Styles is the king of the indies and the TNA guy and Vince Mc Mahon does not like the indies or TNA.

Second, Reigns is being heavily grommed to replace Cena as the top face front and center of the company

Third, I do expect a screw job or some outside intervention during their match.

Spoiler

Seth Rollins is coming back and daddy wants his belt back

Ok but where? NJPW might be a good place to reach a new level

As far as my extreme rules predictions

Spoiler

Got 7 out of 8. Woohoo!

I could have nailed it. I missed Charlotte over Natalya. I had some bizarre remaining faith in the creative team but I forgot something important : Vince McMahon and HHH hate also the Hart family

No idea. If he's not just gonna tour the indies, I'd narrow it down to either TNA, ROH, NJPW, or Lucha Underground. Dusty spent time in both TNA and ROH before, so I'd think they're more likely, but Cody did tease already receiving a film/TV/stage offer, which is why I reckon LU's also on the shortlist. Although there is some speculation that he might be on the next series of Arrow, so it could just be that.

    • Marshall Major V Bluetooth headphones are now up to 47% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The Marshall Major V in Midnight Blue is currently $89.99 on Amazon, down from $169.99. That's 47% off and $80 saved on a pair of wireless on-ear headphones from one of the most recognizable names in audio. The Major V is Marshall's take on a long-lasting everyday headphone. The headphones deliver 100+ hours of wireless playtime, which puts them in a completely different category from most Bluetooth headphones that hover around 30-40 hours. You’re charging this thing once a week at most, and with wireless charging supported, you don’t have to worry about additional cables. Marshall promises its signature sound profile, with strong bass, smooth mids, and clear highs. There’s a customizable M-button, which you can set to quickly access Spotify Tap, your EQ settings, or a voice assistant. The design is foldable and lightweight at 186 grams, so it’s easy to pack for travel. And finally, the faux leather finish gives the Major V a sleek, premium look. At $89.99, the Major V Midnight Blue is a genuinely strong buy for anyone who wants a reliable daily headphone without paying premium prices. It’s also worth mentioning that the Cream and Brown variants are also discounted to $89.99, though from a lower original price of $99.99. • Forza Horizon 6 gets big bug-fixing and balancing update by Taras Buria Today, Playground Games released a big Forza Horizon 6 update with a long list of fixes, patches, and balancing tweaks that the studio promised earlier. Version 375.327 is now available on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox, offering users improvements for AI, audio, design, performance, road discovery, upgrades, visuals, online play, and more. Some of the most notable changes in the Series 2 update include rebalanced drivatars, particularly their difficulty and race start behavior. As such, the game should be more balanced on higher difficulty levels, and AI cars should not shoot out when the race starts as if they have rocket boosters. Speaking of difficulty, developers nerfed Drag Tires physics for a more expected and realistic behavior. They are no longer the go-to option for record-breaking times in road racing, and all leaderboard entries with drag tires will be removed. Completionists will also be glad to get a new feature that lets you see road discovery percentage in each region, which should make discovering all roads easier while keeping it quite challenging and interesting (I spent quite a long time finding the last road). Festival Playlist is also getting some much-needed fixes, including patches for bugs that allowed completing Seasonal Jobs ahead of time or where weekly challenges would not unlock for some players. Developers will retroactively give reward points to all who could not complete all challenges due to these bugs. Other changes include changes to Horizon Play progression so that it is easier to reach Level 100, audio improvements on lower-spec devices, fixes for visual glitches, including pixelated smoke, and more. Developers also addressed the currently non-working Eliminator, an online mode gamers used to farm credits with a Hummer EV exploit. Playground Games plans to re-enable it soon. As a gesture of goodwill, players will get a free McLaren Sabre. Those who used the exploit will not be banned, but developers plan to roll back credits to a maximum of 10M for all who farmed credits using the exploit. You can find the complete changelog for the latest Forza Horizon 6 update here.
