She was already known for having a Hulk Hogan-sized ego before this - hell, to avoid dropping AAA's mixed tag team title to someone she didn't like about a year-and-a-half ago, she relinquished it (leaving Pentagón Jr. to defend them solo) then swiftly retired from wrestling, had a boxing match, then came back to wrestling this year - but at least Hogan never deliberately injured anyone (that we know of).

They focus on kayfabe, mostly, but yeah, couple of dubious entries in the top 10. The Miz definitely had a good year, but I wouldn't say he was top 10; top 20 almost certainly.

Worth bearing in mind that the list only takes into account what happened from July 31 2016 to June 30 2017, so recent champions like Eli Drake and Drew McIntyre are gonna be lower than expected.

 

Some interesting British wrestling notes: Neville ranked 11th, the top British guy outside of WWE is Will Ospreay in 21st, and as for El Ligero...

 

As for where the top champions of major promotions rank (and where they were last year)...

  • WWE Universal Champion - Brock Lesnar: 25th (-6)
  • WWE Champion - Jinder Mahal: 30th (N/A - hasn't been on the list since 2014)

Dave Meltzer said in the WON there was some concern about his condition at Triplemania; there's also a rumour suggesting he was "under the influence", but no solid evidence of that.

      Close, but it is for any application starting, not just during boot time. In fact, it probably will not improve boot time at all because during a boot, the CPU is already boosting, so a pre-boost wouldn't change anything. I agree that it isn't exciting (especially considering every other OS already does it), but it is a good thing, even if they are just playing catch up.

      Any so called performance increase will be in milliseconds, which nobody will actually notice in real world usage.

      All it does is use the CPU more efficiently during boot to speed up boot times. That's it. Yawn....

      It's not a one or the other kind of thing. Software should run efficiently, and the operating system should appropriately manage the CPU clocks. You could have the best most optimized software on earth, and it will still run faster if the CPU does a better job of boosting as needed. All this is doing is pre-boosting the CPU based on user actions, instead of waiting for the normal detection mechanism to kick in. If the OS knows it is about to need more CPU, why shouldn't it use that knowledge? It's the same idea of downshifting before passing someone, instead of just burying your foot into the peddle and waiting for the transmission to figure out what you want to do.
