Shiftie GTK and Emerald

Recommended Posts

Shiftie is my little contribution to Shift Linux. :)

The GTK and Emerald theme are using a similar color scheme from the shift linux website.

This is a pixmap theme - both GTK and Emerald. You'll need the pixmap engines. (+ Mist)

Stuff that still needs to be done

- Maybe create a version with shinier opaque panels, emerald and metacity.

- Fixing some minor pixel bugs in the emerald theme.

- Changing the scrollbar to something else.

- Maybe changing the widgets from GotMilk to something else. (For a more unique look.)

- Creating a metacity theme for those who don't have compiz-fusion.

Known Bugs

- Rightclick on an icon in your panel and select properties. :/

- Some notification icons in the panel may look a bit odd.

Let me know if you find some other bugs. Feedback is also welcome.

Changelog

2008.02.29

- Made a MurrinaShiftie gtk theme. (Still requires the pixmap engine for the panels.) Should be a little bit faster though.

- New emerald theme - ShiftieGlass.

- Readme and better folder structure in the zip.

2008.02.28

- Big update to the gtk theme. All the widgets have been changed.

- Shinier panel buttons.

- Old version with the old widgets also included.

2008.02.27

- Metacity theme included. (Update: fixed the title text color)

- Emerald theme fixes.

I've seen that in sooo many themes. Good luck with that.

Tried a few different fonts, but this seems to be a small bug in the Metacity theme :
