PL_ Veteran Posted March 2, 2008 Veteran Share Posted March 2, 2008 It's probably because it's a very very early Beta. Why do you want to do this? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/623274-installing-longhorn/#findComment-589245179 Share on other sites

TheDreamX
In case he doesn't know -- not sure how, but anyway -- Longhorn became Vista (at least on the consumer end), so you would be better picking up a retail (and far less buggy) version. Master_X
My question is why are asking for help on installing a very early version of Windows 6 (Vista) in a Windows 7 forum? Shouldn't this thread be moved somewhere else? Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/623274-installing-longhorn/#findComment-589253645 Share on other sites
simmorya
You would only be having trouble because alot of people had trouble with installing the Alpha's. andy2004
some of the early longhorns would not install after a certain date/time and it was dependant on the BIOS clock. Try setting the bios clock to 2003 and then try installing again.
