IE7 Won't Load Websites

Hi,

I always use Firefox but recently I've had to use IE7 for pages that are in beta mode and only accessible through IE.

Thing is, whenever I open IE7 nothing loads, the green status bar at the bottom very slowly gets to half-way, then hangs forever :(

I've tried typing in different URL's into the address bar but the same happens. For the record there's no add-ons installed and other browsers load fine :blink:
