Looks like a fun list to me :)

I'm not really bothered about achievements tbh, i just want the damn game!

I agree, getting a bit tired of those 'cutscene' trailers, when do we get to see some actual gameplay with the HUD and everything. Perhaps their tactic is teasing, for me It's just annoying ...

you might be interested to know that 70% of the last trailer was actual gameplay footage taken from a detached camera. but yeah, I want to see what the HUD is like, although I don't remember R* showing us the HUD in any of the previous GTAs.

I know, but i think you also got my point. I don't wanna see cutscenes or detached cameras. It's not that i wanna see just in-game graphics, i wanna see a person playing, behind Niko, with the HUD and everything, wanna see how the cover system works, wanna see what it looks like when he steals a car and not from these odd camera angles.

This isnt going to have the "RPG" elements to it that San Andreas did like keep eating to keep strength up, go to the gym to stay fit etc is it? I didn't even bother with the game after that so returned it for a refund.

You returned it for that?

You had to do that like... once every 10 days :s

Exactly, you didn't even have to do anything.

I ate TWO times during my first completion of the game, the 'starting' missions, where you have to eat and sometimes halfway through the game when his stomach started rumbling.

You don't have exercise

Vehicle skills and other stats just increases throughout the game, you don't have to do anything.

But yeah, each to their own ...

I think it's quite a nice tactic. If most people don't actually see the game being played until they put it in and play it themselves it's going be all the more impressive (assuming it's actually a good game). Though it certainly adds to the annoying tension of wanting to see the game in motion.

I have no Super Hype for the game when it comes i'll play it thats as simple as that.

If it sucks I return it or trade it. Simple as that.

People are hyping this over the top.

It's a good game mucking around is fun but don't overhype yourself for it.

New magazine pictures say otherwise

Also, HUD revealed

I disagree, i think GTAIV is going to be amazing. If it does what i've read then i think it is going to be something special. Also the multiplayer is a lot more than i expected. If that works and not just a complete lag fest then i think it will be a challenger for GOTY.

The multiplayer will make or break the game. They've never tried it before, so it shall be interesting.

I wouldn't say so, it'll be awesome, but if I'm honest I don't even care about the multiplayer. Single player in a GTA game is where it's at. At least for true fans of the series.

I've played GTA since the first GTA and consider myself a fan and i think multiplayer will be the difference between it being a good game to being an amazing game. I think since the first GTA, people have wanted a multiplayer aspect to the game. What is more fun than you and a bunch of mates going round a massive city doing what you want?

    • I like the show more options. The only problem with it is that it's not always in a consistent spot in the menu. If the copy/paste/cut, happens to show on top, then more option is the last in the menu. But if copy/paste/cut happens to show on the bottom, then more options is before the copy/paste/cut. But I do like the more options because it hides the stuff that I rarely use. But I would like to choose what it is or isn't hiding. That would make it better.
    • I wonder if "put it back the way it was for decades" ever crossed their minds? 🤣
    • Rescind the stupid "Show more options" in context menus and just give us the full menu instead of adding more steps to get to what we want. The "simpler by default" makes me think they'll go in the opposite direction. Every context menu should have a configure button so you can pick and choose what options should be shown, I know you can do that with some registry fu but that shouldn't be required.
    • This is why competition must exist. Finally, pressure is mounting on Microsoft to move in the right direction.
    • Microsoft is making Windows 11's context menus faster, simpler, and configurable by Taras Buria Five years ago, Windows 11 introduced redesigned context menus, offering users a simpler, more modern design. However, customers quickly discovered that the new menus leave a lot to be desired. Many are unhappy with performance (they are really slow), while others dislike the double-layed design, where many options are hidden behind the "Show more options" button. In addition, over the years, menus became cluttered and overloaded. While Microsoft has already fixed plenty of pain points across Windows 11, context menus remain mostly unchanged. Fortunately, Microsoft is finally listening. Marcus Ash, Design and Research Lead for Windows at Microsoft, responded to a tweet on X, confirming that the company is working on fixing Windows 11's context menus. Reworked context menus are supposed to be faster, simpler by default, and "configurable to what you use most." What the latter means is unknown, just like whether Microsoft plans to keep the classic menu alongside the modern one, but according to Marcus, the wait should finally be over soon, as he promised to "share our approach soon." Improved context menus will most likely appear first in Windows 11 preview builds in the Experimental Channel. While we wait for Microsoft to release them, you can try fixing context menus on your PC with a simple tool called Windows 11 Context Menu Manager. It lets you disable entries you do not need, not only cleaning up context menus, but also making them significantly faster. Microsoft has already improved Windows 11's Start menu and taskbar, so hopefully it will address user criticism of the context menu as well. Stay tuned for new Windows 11 preview builds, which usually arrive every Friday.
