i got mine last night at the midnite release, i only played it for maybe an hour due to having to be up at 5am for work today, it was pretty cool, i didn't really do anything mission wise other then the "first" mission. I just kinda ran around stealing cars and punching old people in the head. can't wait to get outta here and play all night

I ordered my copy of GTA4 SE last thursday from Play and they dispatched it yesterday... Its here now :D Not sure how I managed to get that, since some of my friends only got their copies dispatched today and they pre-ordered it months ago

I actually hate you now! :p no not really well done, I hope mine comes tomorrow tho

Alright so those that have the game already, and has played both online and multiplayer.....Is the game worth it? I think it is ( and i didnt even play it yet). I am curious though what everyone else thinks, is it worth it? For people that do not own a system, would this game be worth it for them to go out and buy a system and the game? Then slowly build their game collection.

I personally want to get away from PC gaming so I am seriously thinking of going today and getting a system, game, and three month XBL haha.

I think that sounds like a good plan. This game is really good. Don't get the three month XBL. You get 1 free month when you make a new account and GTA 4 comes with 1 free month as well. so you have 2 months there.

I played the game for 20 mins and was amazed by it. It was a bit wierd to play though just because I haven't played the 360 in so long and it took a bit to get used to the controller :p

does anyone else find this game causes your PS3 fans to kick in after 20 minutes and pretty much stay that way?

Mine hasn't.. I've been playing it since around 12, its now 6pm, fan is still silent as normal. Also, the air coming out the back is a lot cooler than usual :s

I'm so glad I'm off work till next Tuesday :D

It's taken me some time to get used to the graphic style, reminds me of Burnout Paradise in a way. I haven't had any serious slowdown on the PS3 but there have been moments where it has a very noticeable dip. Not noticed any serious pop-in yet though :)

My PS3 copy is running in 720p by default instead of 1080p :/

Happen to anyone else?

natively PS3 is running at 630P (default) and the xbox is running at 720P (default) This is being reported on most of the sites, including Sony and MS sites. I personally have the 360 copy as the majority of people I know are on 360, however the people who bought the PS3 version are saying the same, their TV's are set auto and it runs at either 576P, 630P or 720P :(

However that should not detract from the game, its awesome, no matter what platform you play it on :)

Ok, cool. Now the most brilliant question of them all: How in the hell do I get to the multiplayer? lol

Access your mobile (up on the D-Pad) and the access the phone menu and choose Multiplayer :p

    • Anybody that thinks flying cars were possible are idiots. Everyone would basically need a pilot licence, can you imagine how insane and dangerous that would be, people can barely handle driving on land safely right now.

    • Waymo recalls self-driving software after cars enter closed freeway work zones by Paul Hill Waymo, the self-driving car maker owned by Alphabet – the parent company of Google –, has recalled some of its fifth-generation Automated Driving Systems (ADS). It did so after some of its cars drove through closed construction zones. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the affected vehicles were capable of driving through a closed freeway construction zone and continuing to drive at speed. The listing on the NHTSA website says that Waymo is currently developing a solution to fix this issue, but in the meantime, freeway driving is being restricted. Waymo will update its ADS software so that vehicles can detect when they can avoid entering construction zones. According to the Safety Recall Report, on April 20, 2026, Waymo’s Field Safety Committee began meetings reviewing an event from April 11, 2026, and five events from April 19, 2026, where Waymo’s autonomous vehicles didn’t recognize and drove past ramp closure signs into the pre-planned freeway construction zones. This took place in Phoenix, Arizona. Separately, on May 18, 2026, seven Waymo vehicles entered freeway lanes with active construction in the San Francisco Bay Area by driving between cones that were placed to show the lane was closed. On the back of both of these events, Waymo restricted freeway driving until it could address the issue. In June, Waymo’s Safety Board reviewed the issue and additional information related to ADS performances around construction zones; then, as a result, it decided to conduct a recall. This development is not good for Waymo as it adds to a growing list of technical hiccups its cars have experienced. Ultimately, it will lead to more scrutiny from lawmakers around the world who will be more cautious about letting autonomous vehicles on their roads without tighter regulation. For readers in areas where Waymo operates, does this news make you more wary about stepping into one of these vehicles?
