No offense Ayepecks but once again you have trouble reading/understanding my posts for an unapparent reason.

What I was trying to say was, before the concept art even came out, the rumors going around were all saying that B2 was going to be a prequel. That said, those same rumors could have inspired the concept art.

If more explanation is needed please ask, I just hate when people get offended because they misread something I post.

Whoa, chill out, I'm not getting offended.

"I know thats what was in the fake art, but wasn't that the hint in the first place where B2 was going?"

That's what you said. The concept art wasn't a hint as it was fan-made, and there was no rumor of it being a prequel really until the concept art came out. Fans have said they hope its a prequel, but no real rumors. That was the gist of my response. Am I missing some part of your post?

I only mentioned offending because last time we tried to discuss something it got out of hand so I'm not sure who needs to chill out. :pinch:

I know that's what I said and I'm not sure what you don't understand. What I wrote means exactly what I said. Not sure what you consider a real rumor, so its going to be pretty hard to debate what that one means. So, you believe what you want is a real rumor, but it was seen weeks before the "art".

Allow me to clear this up...

I know thats what was in the fake art, but wasn't that the hint in the first place where B2 was going?

I know what you meant to say, but if you look at the highlighted "that", it seems as though you were referring to the fake art, not the things IN the fake art. So to me (as well as Ayepecks), it looked like you were saying "the fake art was the hint in the first place where B2 was going".

What you said means what you want it to say, but it also means something else depending on how you interpret the construction of that sentence. It's not a big deal now that you've clarified what you meant.

Exactly, and now that I clarified it up, Aye was still having trouble understanding it like before which just left me a little confused. I could see how my original post was left open to a little interpretation, but Aye always seems like he has to be right when I post any sort of opinion. Thanks Kush.

You know what I dis-like most about BioShock?

The copy protection.

I heard it allows 5 installs, and supposedly the way it does it - it counts a single install, but used in a dual-boot environment or a situation where you re-install Windows each as separate game installations. In fact, I don't know if its copy protection would allow the game install to even survive moving from different installations of Windows, as the registry entries and system files it installed would require a re-installation.

Not only that, but the Steam version requires both user authentication in addition to the layer of redundant, intrusive, and unnecessary copy protection.

All that to play a shooting game that I can download off any torrent site and play without any of that headache.

I just got "Neverwinter Nights 2". It installs off its DVD and requires a CD-key during install. When I go to play, it loads its "SecuROM"or whatever copy-protection and checks the DVD. It doesn't need the DVD to play (it installs almost 7 gigs of data), but the copy protection requires the disc. Not only that, but many times it complains that it cant "read" the disc, and the game refuses to run. So I eject and re-insert the disc.

Next comes "The Sims 2". I install, put in my key, and when I got to play it requires the CD be in the drive. Not only that, but the game launcher disables stuff like Daemon tools. I go to play a game and next thing I know all my virtual drives empty themselves.

And again, anyone who downloaded those games from a torrent site doesn't have to deal with that. I hate being punished for buying PC games.

Copy protection is one of those things PC gamers love to hate. Unfortunately the state of piracy with PC gaming means a lot of companies see it as a necessity.

Personally, I think that if they just gave users an easy way to pay for a legit download at a REASONABLE price (hear me, Steam? I said REASONABLE, not MORE expensive than the BOXED retail version!), then it wouldn't be much of a problem.

I always crack every game I own because I hate having to swap the disks for the games I want to play.

I don't think Ayepecks is doing anything of the sort, I think you're misinterpreting what he's saying as much as he's misinterpreting what you meant to say.

So, if EA does complete the takeover of Take Two, we'll see Bioshock 3 in '10, Bioshock: Underground in '11, a DS version of Bioshock, and Bioshock: The Movie: The Videogame featuring a soundtrack by crappy Nu-Metal bands, right?

I'd love to see a DS version of Bioshock!!

Here's a nice little tidbit for you...

EA owns the rights to System Shock. Now imagine what would happen if the Bioshock developers got ahold of that...

looks good on paper, but what i think will happen in practice is EA will push the new system shock game out before its even half done, and do it in such a way that ****es off the 10+ years of playerbase

I've finished it two times :D Looong time ago.

Once with good and once with bad. I've heard there's three different endings, but with third attempt it was a lil hard to balance the good and evil :pinch: :p

The Game was/is awesome ! Can't wait for the second one :D

Long Live Bioshock !

That's very true, but it seems to be that lately EA is trying not to **** up as much because they know how bad their reputation is. I get the feeling that half of the management team is desperately trying to change that, while the other half just wants more money. It wouldn't be the first time EA has promised to change it's ways and make better games, but we'll see what happens. Fingers crossed!

    • Because of the EU (a good thing) newer android devices been getting 5 years worth of security patches. Except some Motorola which found the loop hole, and offer ZERO updates. In addition, Google for years have been making where it can patch some stuff by updating the core Google Play Store itself.  As echoed earlier,  you take the security risk in to your own hand beyond supported.
