soldier1st Posted March 23, 2008 Share Posted March 23, 2008 if i were you i'd switch to another av that does not force you to run uac off such as avg or esset and if they dont giev u a refund then report them to the bbb but if you asked for a refund after 14 days then your sol,running with admin rights is bad as it can do what all it wants but running without admin rights protect you as it will limit the damage an app can do if it indeed evil,thats why user mode is sweet. mad_onion Posted March 23, 2008 Share Posted March 23, 2008 if we're talking about a recommened antivirus i would definately say avast. it's the only one i've found that isn't annoying. all the others seem to feel the need to tell you they are updating their virus definitions. unsurprisingly it gets dull after it keeps happening, avast is much less intrusive. Step 1: -Double click my computer/Computer on the desktop -Double click on drive C: -Double click on Program Files folder -Double click on Trend Micro folder -Double click on Internet Security folder -Double click on TISSUPRT.exe -Go to Unistall tab -Click on 4.
