So the 2008 season started in Tokyo. What a worst season opener than the Red Sox winning :s

Who do you guys (and gals) think will win this year's World Series?

I'm very much looking forward to putting my season tickets at Yankee Stadium to good use this year. I'll be able to attend far more games than in past years. Also my first year of field box seats, after a couple of years a little further away. Very exciting!

Red Sox FTW!

We watched the last few innings in my History/Culture of Baseball class today. It was pretty epic.

Huh? That was one heckuva game! I began watching in the 4th inning. :D

I've got $100 on the Rays to win it all. That's right, the Rays! :woot:

Could care less......baseball quit being a game in the early 70's when free agency came along, and now is just

a "business". No TEAM loyalty anymore. Just nine individuals.

Plus....considering what they pay them, it costs more to go to the ballpark for a game, for a family of four than

a day at six flags.

Go Braves!

I've always loved them ever since I was a kid.

(and if the Jays do well I won't be upset lol)

It's the middle of May and the Rays are in first place. Still think I'm crazy? :D

A fluke?

Anybody else catch the Subway Series? The Mets won the first two, and there is only one more left to go. Jose Reyes is looking more and more like he will become a superstar (if he isn't one already).
