But that thread will get large too,and people will be lazy to browse it as well. What will you do then? Will you create another thread called "reposting of reposting old icons" ? Don't really see the point of creating such thread, mind explaining? ;)

If someone requests an icon that I have already posted in that thread, I will yell at them and ignore their request. The thread may get large in time, but since I would only post icons requested and ones that are not from the last five pages of this thread and the Windows XP thread, it will not be as large as this one. It might also keep this thread from getting too large, because people would not be asking lazy questions in this one.

Alright, this post is to ask everyone if it is ok to post your icons. People in specific that I would like to ask are: Dominik, Foood, Hush66, Hyperbole, Loofy Gun, Survivorx, Tim, The Monke, Whistler XP, and Werewolf. If anyone I did not list wants to give me permission, that is cool too; I cannot remember everyone who made icons, so I cannot list everyone. I will credit everyone whose icons I post, so do not worry. If you do not want me to post your icons, I understand, and I will respect your wishes. Thank you everyone.

I posted them back on page 27 (keep in mind I have set 40 posts per page). They are very crappy, only 48x48, and all in one image. I think WereWolf is remaking them in 128x128, so I would wait for him to finish.

I will post them very soon.... :p

You are welcome Namie. :p

I like your avatar as well as FallenEmber's. They are both beautiful. FallenEmber posted her new avatar before you did though.

I said "her" new avatar, but FallenEmber may not be a woman, so I guess I should have said: FallenEmber posted his new avatar before you did though. I just automatically assumed that FallenEmber was a woman.

Namie, I have all of them. Go to this website, you will find all that you need, although I would like to see the full picture of your avatar. The website is: http://clotz2000.web1000.com/index.htm.

Did you ever find out what was wrong with the "App Icons 2" link? Just curious if there were more icons...

Smitjel- No, I did not; the link still leads to a crappy spam website.

WereWolf- Nice icons. :p

[need to correct you,he ain't "The Monke",he is "themonke"] :)

I guess my post should have said: "Alright, this post is to ask everyone if it is ok to post your icons. I cannot edit, it has been too long ago.

Ok, no problem. Go ahead.

    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.
    • VirtualBox 7.2.10 by Razvan Serea VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers. • OK, now ask yourself how are they going to enforce that law? By requiring every single adult to prove their age and provide their legal identity documents to an UNREGULATED 3rd party company that already has a long track record of multiple data breaches. Not to mention, parliament have voted AGAINST this ban, twice, and Starmer is going ahead anyway. So, where's the democracy here, because that looks like dictatorship to me. The solution here is parental responsibility, not government control. Run some public service announcements on TV and UK social media teaching parents how to setup parental controls. That's already been proven to actually work. But the, this is not and has NEVER been about keeping kids safe. It's about control and monitoring. Watching what you're doing online and controlling what you can see and what you can say.
    • Interesting read. I knew the adware was quite controversial at the time, however never realised to the point The Guardian wrote an article about Patchou. I just said no and enjoyed his creation, I’d probably be a lot more wary of something like that today though.
