Looks good, but the windows need shadows... I mean, you're going after Leopard here, right? The OS with massive window dropshadows? At least use the normal Aero shadow "glow".

Do people actually read the previous posts or just the first and last one?

okay, i think, it looks superb!

as for the annoying ones, i suppose they just look at the title and post, because i don't really see why anyone should be whining about that, since you probably explained that more than half a dozen times!

anyway, would love to see this, good job, keep it up!! :)

You theme is really shaping up to be nice, it reminds me very much of an older version of VistaOSX, but patrickgs on deviant has started to change his theme around.

it used to look like this. this was my desktop about a month ago. if you want the VS i could pm you BUT you must ask PatrickGS if you plan on using any of his work or ideas

Could someone please post me some screenshots of the buttons (OK, cancel, etc, possibly called caption buttons?) in leopard. Focussed, unfocussed, disabled, hover, etc. Thanks in advance.

Regular Push Buttons. "OK" and "Save" are active.

I'm using your Human one right now, and will probably keep it as combined with a blue wallpaper i got from someone, i am 120% satisfied with my computer now...thank you ever so much!

Don't worry about it man, some people don't know the difference.

firstly, i agree with the fact that lots of kudos should be given for someone who makes skins for free (or freeware for that matter). secondly, by mentioning stardock/ windowblinds i never menat for anyone to get sensitive about it: my intentions were to provide some "insight" or more suggest seeing what other people of done - as far as leopard skinning is concerned - and see how you can incorporate that with the skin being featured in this topic (i admit i probably went about it the wrong way). i'm in no way trying to be a troll

as you can see i have <10 forum posts since joining last year (and i should probobly keep it that way) because things always get taken out of context. My bad though.

all things aside, i like what i've seen so far and it will probably complete the leopard theme im going for on my desktop. object dock's leopard them will go well with it!

    • Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
    • eh I'll wait for the June 2026 MVS ISO downloads which should be coming out next Tuesday June 16 and possibly contain build 8655 instead of 8653
