Kosh Naranek Posted February 4, 2003 Share Posted February 4, 2003 Have you installed the NIMO codec pack ... if yes then that might be why. Some of the filters in the NIMO codec pack breaks the XVid Codec ... can't remember which ones ..sorry. The correct action would be to un-install the nimo codec pack and then re-install XVid and the Nimo pack wihout those filters. Otherwise try out GSpot it will tell out exactly what codec was used for your .AVI and whether the .AVI can be played on your system or if you need any codecs. When I play certian xVid movies, it's all green everywhere and you can't see too much. I've tried installing other xVid codecs, but same problem. How do you fix this? You can try un-installing Nimo then re-install Xvid and then try to play the movie. If the movie play correct then some of the filters you have choosen to install with Nimo, messes Xvid up.
