theres a dispatches thing on, on monday about how healthy a ready made/in the shop sandwich, and one of the points that is seen quickly in the advert is him pointing to a baguette might be a sub way or mcdonalds deli thing but the guy said there was more salt in the baguette than in 9 packets of crisps. which is a friggin lot.

subway aint that healthy as ppl think sure its made in front of ya sure it has the green stuff (lettuce etc) but if you look at how much fat and that thats in some of them its a hell of a lot for a "healthy" sandwich.

I reckon youll know when you eat a proper healthy sandwich cus it wont taste all to great hahaha.

I'd pick any sub place *but* Subway, really. Quiznos isn't *that* bad, since the prices are close to Subway's prices, but you get way more. At my local subway, you get a tiny bit of meat, some cheese, and it doesn't seem very nice. It tastes okay [could be better, could be worse] but the best option is a local sub place. When I eat a sub, I don't expect it to be healthy because it's not. You guys saying how unhealthy McDonalds is really should think more about what things you get on a sub, too.

Seriously........ I guess that if you are young, you might care less about nutritional information.... but if you do care about obesity, hypertension, diabetes, and coronary artery disease, here are the stats:

McDonald's:

Subway:

And of course, for all other fast food restaurants:

i can't eat meat from fast food restaurants cuz of restrictions very similar to kosher food.

I dont give a crap about how healthy the food is as long as it tastes freakin awesome enough to release endorphins or whatever to make me feel good and satisfy me hunger. A real man's heart runs on pure grease, cholesterol, and of course, testosterone.

However, I did try the vegetarian options and i can eat tuna/fish. that is exactly where subway wins over McDonalds. It tastes freakin awesome compared to the really crappy mcfishburger whatever.

Edit: and #%&! salads.. thats not food!
