Microsoft would never be stupid enough to give a user this many options, let alone all these new ones in a single update. :p

What? Why not? These aren't major features as has been in every update before this one. This one is just a combination of various small changes/fixes/updates. It is very plausible.

EDIT: Wait, and also the ability to preview Dashboard Themes...a few times I've bought themes that appeared good yet sucked badly :(

Here's what I want to see:

• Voice chat and webcam chat on WLM
  
• Raise the limit of queued downloads to at least 10
  
• Introduce an alerts service where you get sent a message everytime something you're watching comes out
  
• Badges to go on your gamercard (e.g. completed 10 retail games, completed 5 XBLA games, etc.)
  
• Proper chat rooms on the dashboard, like back on the Xbox!
  
• Picture-In-Picture webcam chat when playing games or watching DVDs!
  

If that list is true, then my list is a third of the way complete! :)

I have been waiting for this since i got the media centre setup at home. I have the xbox in the bedroom and the wife uses it to watch tv but hates the way see has to go into the dashboard to watch videos :<

Technically, there's nothing stopping Microsoft from making one. I do believe they had PPC versions of Windows NT and such.

Still, it's a silly idea as it wouldn't really serve much use, especially since they can add anything useful via software anyway.
