Offtopic: on CoD4, on the level where you're in the missile base, trying to get to the launch control center, you know how you go through a hall with a bunch of enemies on the sides, and then through another hall, around some crates, and down stairs?

Then there's a part with another tunnel, but the way forward is blocked, so you have to go to the side? I can't get past there. Which way should I be going (left, right, where else?)?

The TV station... That was a bitch to beat. I kept getting killed.

Ok, From the begining just after you reppled down the launch silo. Get out of the bathroom and head north down the hall towards your objective marker(Lots of bad guys so kill them). locate the stairs and Head down stairs (You should see a big russian emblem on the wall while going down stairs). Once you reach the bottom of the stairs you should be facing SE towards your next objective marker. Around you should be a hallway with crates. Down the hall should be a blast door slowly opening. Now on both left and right side of the hall should be a doors with a circular room. Thats the way I went and thats what was easy from me. Just take your time and once you get there place the C4 Charges on the door and blow it up. And on the other side is the control room with mulitple enemies on behind the computers and on the balcony. Kill them and you should have spare time to disable the launch.

Try and practice on easy that way your familiar with your surroundings, where the enemies will be (Although they randomize each time you play the lvl). That way when you do it on Veteran you will do it alot faster

Thanks Michael, that was exactly one of the articles I was talking about. If you find any more of them please post, it would definetly save me some time today. I'm graduating tomorrow, so I am just a bit busy today!

To Gangsta:

Kotaku.com.

I have to go take a shower (just got back from track practice), but I will take a closer look on there when I get done.

Ok... Another WWII era again. LAME!

And I guess it looks like its gonna be developed by Treyarch. LAME x10 trillion quaddroople billion!!!!!!!!!!

Ill wait to play COD when its COD6.

Seems like Infinity Ward and Treyarch alternate.... BOOO!

Source

As long IW do it, I don't care in witch theater they do it. As long it's NOT the future.

Dont think they will... Looks like Treyarch will do it.

But if treyarch does decide to develope Call Of Duty 5... They better not make it to where you can pick your class. That was thee gayest thing I ever seen on COD3

I bet they said the same thing with CoD3, and we ended up with a certain part of WWII.

Personally, I'd love to see it done BF2142-style! You can go as crazy as you want when you set a game in the future, so let them go nuts!

Maybe, but I don't know. I think a futuristic setting would be great. They could bring up new game concepts. Also, they wouldn't be restricted with today's military arsenal.

That's even worse :s

How so? You don't think it would be awesome to take out a tank with a particle beam cannon?

What's with all the "future" hate? It can't be that bad. I don't think Infinity Ward, or whichever company develops CoD5, will go all out in a futuristic shooter. I doubt they'd add things like phasers and walking tripod vehicles (War of the Worlds, anyone?).

Please god not WWII.

I didn't like any of the older Call of Duty games, but CoD4 I love.

And that it is apparently coming out on Ps3, Xbox360, PC, DS, Ps2 and Wii.

Sounds like its going to be a disaster that they have been developing the game for so many platforms, games developed for so many, well, all of them out but the PsP, are usually film franchise games, and they are always generally crap.

I would love for this to not turn out crap, but I get this feeling its going to.

And the general population who bought the game that aren't the ones who dig in deep and know the different devlopers are probably going to buy CoD5 thinking it will be as good if not better than CoD4.

Just hope it is.

I personally don't really care where the game takes place as long as theres multiplayer vehicles.

I completely disagree with you (no offense). There are several reasons why COD 4 is currently beating Halo 3 on XBL's Most Played (Online) list each week, one of them being no vehicles. I won't get into it because it just causes so much frustration for me. :p

Hopefully there will be no vehicles, they tend to ruin games and take away focus from the actual 'FPS' section of the game.

Adding an option to enable vehicles, then you end up separating people from those who like and dislike vehicles - Then you need to sort through servers and have to server jump constantly when the host

decides he want vehicles or not. Just leave 'em out and focus on what the game actually is, a First Person Shooter.

Thanks Michael, you saved me a lot of outrage, that almost sums most of my thoughts up. :D

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets another hotfix for one of the game's online modes by Taras Buria Recently, Forza Horizon 6 players discovered an interesting glitch that allowed farming a crazy amount of in-game credits in a few minutes. Playground Games quickly pulled the plug on the exploit by disabling one of the game's online modes, and today, the studio is rolling out another hotfix. In my review, I complained about the game still showering gamers with cars, credits, and wheelspins. As such, earning money in Forza Horizon 6 is not a particularly difficult task. You simply have to play the game, crazy, I know. However, people still found an easier path to becoming a billionaire in Forza Horizon 6. All you had to do was purchase the Hummer EV, install a specific tune, shift in reverse while going at about 15 MPH, hit a wall, and get launched into the stratosphere at the speed of light. While mid-air, launch Eliminator and quickly get eliminated. Boom, the game just awarded you with a few million in-game credits. Initially, Playground Games disabled Eliminator to prevent people from farming credits. Now, following the release of the first balancing update, developers are rolling out a new update that re-enables Eliminator and gives users a free McLaren Sabre as a gesture of goodwill. Here is the changelog: One critical issue remains unpatched, though. There are quite a few reports of the game wiping gamers' saves, and developers are still looking into that. To avoid potential data loss, Playground Games recommends taking one of the steps outlined in a previously published support article.
