If you are posting in the Jokes & Funny Stuff section is it real necessary to use this:

[Joke] must be used for topics where the poster is telling a (hopefully) funny joke. Also for funny articles or linked websites.

I kind of find it redundant. If your posting in Real World Issues Section you do not have to include [NEWS]

At least it tells people that they won't need to deal with audio/visual stuff. Someone in an office may want to read a joke but not hear a screamer vid.

It was because the links on the main page for latest forum activity do not reflect the section they are posted in. People complained that they were wasting clicks of their mice.
