leesmithg
And?Is it surprising when all we see is peopel coming here from abroad, getting houses and benefits before English people. Hell, they even claim child benefit for kids that still live abroad. And i know it isn't their fault, it's the system. But can you blame people for being the way they are? And with things like this happening And he was on benefits!! His family are still getting crap loads in benefits whilst English people are on and below the poverty line. The system in this country ****ing sucks, but I am proud to fly my flag. Also we are signed upto the humans rights act which is under written by non-elected euro judges. You are entitled to the same benefits the so called immigrants are entitled to. The rules state that if you pay income tax working in this country you are entitled to working & child tax benefits and family allowance (child benefit). If someone comes to this country legally they are entitled to get housing/council housing or they can privately rent just like you can. You can go live & work in any European country thats part of the union if you so wish. You can goto France demand housing and be able to claim benefits if you so wish, like in Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium etc. You will probably find that the housing and public services are far superior and cheaper than here. I myself am thinking of moving totally to France. I am going to do a second degree this year for four years and I will add French to it as to speak the lingo when we move there. My English language has always been poor, only got a C @ O'level, so maybe, I will try harder at French as it is such a sexy language. I in four years time expect to be a French Environmental Health Officer!!!!. If you don't like our current situation, you must vote for the party you expect to win, in this current climate it will be the Tories. You lot didn't listen to me in 2005, all I got was b.s. about how great T. BLIAR is from Labour supporters, to which I believe now are Tories, the turn-coats they are. Don't vote for a nazi, far right or nationalist party, it will be one less vote for the Conservatives. This boils down to the government not having the balls to have deported him when they found out he was a bigamist, thats the conservative government b.t.w. DON'T FORGET THAT IMMIGRANTS HELPED SAVE EUROPE FROM THE NAZIS, THEY ALSO MIGRATED HERE BEFORE SOME OF US WERE BORN AND PAID TAXES SO WE COULD HAVE THE CHANCE OF A NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE, GOOD SCHOOLS AND SOMEONE TO DO THE JOBS THE LAZY WHITE PEOPLE WOULD NOT DO. Angelic Marge
You know what they say The grass is always greener on the other side. Speaking of France we have a boy in our nursery who's father's family are French and their all packing up and moving over here. They feel the way some of you feel about England and hate living there. His aunt and uncle have just registered their little girl in our nursery today actually  Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/636120-rough-on-england/page/2/#findComment-589395220 Share on other sites
_bobcat_ Veteran Posted May 12, 2008 Veteran Share Posted May 12, 2008 I don't like all this hating on the UK, I have to say. Sure it has its problems but there's a lot of good things - it's not a completely awful place to be. In this country I am allowed to drive a car, go to university, have my own passport, go out alone. I don't have to worry about starving or walk miles to get water everyday. I get a hot shower and clean clothes every day and a roof over my head at night. If there were to be a natural disaster, my own government wouldn't see fit to keep out aid agencys while people die (Burma). And?Is it surprising when all we see is peopel coming here from abroad, getting houses and benefits before English people. Hell, they even claim child benefit for kids that still live abroad. Hmm I do sympathise at it often feels like people who make an effort with their lives have all kind of obstacles put in their way, while lazy people get a free ride. However, most people have skewed ideas from the media, and forget all of the lazy white people who scrounge and scam the country. In my experience, no one living on benefits does well out of it, it's generally a very minimalist existence (not life). It's just enough to be more worthwhile than working for minimum wage (which is a big problem imo). I do blame the government for the mess we have with regard to immigration as I believe they do nothing to help us fit together. You can't just put two radically different groups of people together and expect them to get on like best pals. It's just not human nature. I think there should be something, I don't know what, to get people to learn more about different cultures and be more tolerant. Perhaps it could start in school, like the anti drug/cigarette brainwashing.
