mendoza.h
Hi everybody. I've been searching the forum but i couldn't find a solution to this problem. Whenever i try to watch streaming video on firefox using the totem plugin, the video does not stream. A square with a red "X" just appears instead of the video and when i click on it i get an error message saying that it appears to be a text file. here's a link to a picture of it so you can see what i'm talking about. http://img255.imageshack.us/img255/1911/screeniegf8.jpg Am i missing something?? I'm using Firefox 3 Beta 5 with the Totem web browser plugin , as well as the good, the bad and the ugly gstreamer plugins.gstreamer-ffmpeg is also installed. I am currently using xubuntu 8.04, i used to be running ubuntu 7.10(using gnome) and i didn't had this problem, it was until updating to xubuntu 8.04 when this started to happen. The2
It's probably because Firefox is in beta stage. The same is with quicktime on windows...
