1. Open Calculator

2. On the help Menu, click Help Topics

3. Right click the icon on the topleft corner of the screen

4. Click on Jump To URL

5. Put the address on the Jump To The URL box (Put http:// before an address )

6. if you minimize the help topic box onto the taskbar you'll see that in place the webpage name the name'll be Calculator Help !!

Yeah, there've been times when I'm stuck browsing the Web in the help app because of a link inside a program's helpfile.

THX for the tip however it still uses IE's proxy settings to connect to the web therefore it isn't any more private to surf than just using IE tbh.

it will also use page requests via port 80 therefore any proxy/web sec unit set via AD in GPO in a domain would also render this useless and treat is as normal http.

nice find though ;)

Internet Explorer 8 beta 2 has "InPrivate Browsing" which doesn't save cookies, history, or any temp files, so anything you do will be completely anonymous and not tracked
