yeah I heard it was coming out today?! Seen an updated wiishop pic that showed they put wiiware in between virtual console and wiishop..

I don't know what all the hype is though other than being able to get games made by other developers and such right?

Some of the games you can some you cant. I downloaded My Life as a King and Lost winds, both of which are fun by the way MLaak is very addicting.

I'd say it is a mix between Simcity and civilization. Has alot to do with managing resources and building adventureres, a big departure from Squares regular games but it is still fun.

another thing they did with My life as a King is add downloadable content, like those Japanese games, were you can purchase extra's using wii points, like new clothing, etc.

I'm right in thinking WiiWare is for people to develop new games and channels for the Wii? Couldn't someone theoretically create a DVD Player channel for the Wii? :)

It's just like any other game released physically, only those developers can release wiiware titles.... not anyone.
